I'm a little curious, Gaijin, in order to advance the progress, is the top-level aerial combat in the game so far from reality that it has lost the realistic characteristics of War Thunder

Looking at the combat cases in recent years, many of the familiar fighter jets in the game have already participated in actual combat, such as SU27/30SM, F16, J10C, and Rafale fighter jets. However, the vast majority of their victories were achieved at distances of 100km or even over 200km, while many of the victories in the game were within 20km. This difference in magnitude cannot be considered realistic, right?

so what? they r “air realistic ™ battle”

It’s a game, can’t expect it to be fully realistic.
It never was

IRL, Longest range aim120C-7 kill was 45KM away, against an L-39 (which was not defending since it didnt know it was being shot at)

R37 getting a 200+km kill was against a SU27 using a MiG31 pretty much in the stratosphere, which doesnt exist in game yet.

you can get long range kills using the missiles in game if the enemy doesnt defend (at all, or correctly) but seekers are more susceptible to chaff in game then IRL.

For War thunder, these ranges are pretty accurate to IRL whilst also maintaining balance

this is a lie

You’re right but it was an Iranian Yak-130

Aim120 got a kill on a su35 last year. Dont know the ranges but definetly not this close

The longest shot I’ve ever hit was like 31 miles.
