Its already slowly ruining the ability to get into CAS with proper loadout isn’t it? I’m wondering how players with subpar 1.0 kdr can even get into a jet with gbus, maybe once every 7 games? if they have added a ground only vehicles mode, then they don’t have to touch the spawn points of jets in combined arms mode, technically turning a lot of pilots from flying their jet into flying turrets instead.
New mode without planes won’t remove current GRB.

Yeah but it would spoil realism. I support taking planes out of the unrealistic game mode (GAB). However in real life there would never be a tank engagement without air support. I agree it’s unbelievably unbalanced rn but still the only mode without it should be arcade battles.

GRB is just a little less arcade-y version of GAB but it still isn’t realistic. For that you’d need to go to Simulator.

i doing cap most of the time often found that most of CAS pilot are suck at fighting jet because unlike tank jet can fight back.
You literally have an ongoing war there tanks battles are WITHOUT FIXED WING CAS for over a year. Both sides do not use planes for CAS. Don’t play this card, as it is easily debunked. Tank battles without planes ARE REALISTIC and you can observe it yourself
That is true but i’m war thunder that apparently doesn’t matter (don’t agree with either).
… I mean they are using sucide drones which is a form of killing tanks from the air also there is very little tank on tank battles and the ones that do happen are very small. Now instead of getting mad please try and hold a viable argument.
Additionally if it is a large scale tank battle 10+ there will 9.5/10 times be air support

You forgot about tank barrels clipping into solid objects, making vehicles able to look around corners without exposing the barrel.
On plenty of maps this game is nothing more but CoD but with tanks.
And planes dropping bombs on them are even worse. Oh hey look a separated Q where you can be in combined arms and where tank players go TO, revolutionary!
Gaijin has been putting arbitrary stuff in the game for years for “balance” so i don’t really see the problem with a mode that would be more enjoyable.
