Yeah… that’s how the game works. If you get sniped, it’s your next spawn that will allow you to fight back. Die to a heavy tank, bring out a tank destroyer. Light tank? IFVs. That’s how lineups work. You can’t expect a single vehicle type to counter every other in a single spawn. Ironic considering that’s how you see CAS- then reject SPAA or FAD as counters.

You could’ve fought back even before you died, which can’t be said if attacked by an air unit.
You don’t need any of that to kill specified vehicles.
SPAA as a counter to CAS isn’t viable in plenty of cases.
I want EVERY nation to have a decent counter for CAS.
Some are a bit of a joke while others, lets take USSR, got it all.
They got bloody nice AA through the entire BRs, (and Gaijin still give them more with every update)
they got TD with proxy grenades,
roof mounted machine guns on quite a lot of their tanks,
TD with radars,
a nice selection of fighter planes
and light tanks with proxy grenades AND bloody proxy ATGMs.
They have EVERYTHING, literally everything.
I just want other nations to have the same counters for CAS.
That would be an awesome start.
If something is efficient then You should be able to show everyone how efficient it is.
The difference between what I talk about and what You are, is that I talk about what can be done and prove that in can be done by showing videos of it or as recently showing K/D made purely on GRB in a plane.
The point with 2 planes was that it only takes two plane players that cooperate to deal with any SPAA and there is no difference no matter what SPAA You will be using.
So if someone says that he does really great on the aircraft but his stats says something different, he can say that ‘oh I used it mostly to do x, so for y it is different’? I understand Your point and I belive You as I know You for long time, but making a point like that only allows for abuse.
From that angle? Why would I? If I were in battle even on UHQ settings, I would probably be able to point You out them (1/2 months and I’ll get that new laptop, so please stane tuned).
Tank vs Tank is a fair fight where both can do something about the other.
Tank vs Plane is not a fair fight.
And SPAA are mostly not effective against Air, so only air is really effective.
But you need to bring your TD in order to kill a heavy tank, otherwise you’re helpless.
Same goes for light tanks, if you don’t have IFVs in your lineup you’re screwed.
Funny enough, check their stats and You will understand everything
But why learn to play tanks if You can just drop bombs without being threatened

Would one Aircraft per game help in GRB ?
Trouble is whose game does it help? I am sure these changes help some people while destroying the game for others. Many people seem to have a routine for getting kills and have been using it for years. Destroy that routine and you destroy their game and enjoyment.
Been hearing a lot about how cover has been removed from maps and maps altered, BR moved around etc. Does all this change help or just cause long term players to
leave?
Does this constant tinkering make somebody confident enough to buy a years premium? I know this year is the first year I let mine lapse. I don’t like where the game is going currently, and I don’t trust Gaijin anymore. Too much messing about.
More CAS nerfing when I am just getting reasonable with it? I have been on the receiving end of other people’s CAS attacks and now I am getting a few kills there is a stampede to alter CAS.
Get used to the maps and they change them. Get a good line up and Gaijin mess with the BR and ruin it. One step forward two steps back.
If War Thunder has to be constantly tinkered with then overhaul it properly. Remove all the faults or just leave it alone.12 years and it’s still a work in progress.
What if ground does not render to air superiority fighters UNLESS it opens fire on them? Perhaps ROE could be enforced by hiding stuff that isn’t to be engaged.
As to first spawn: Choose a plane in your lineup and press to battle. MM will drop you in a battle where you will be spawned in this plane first, but it may take a bit longer to find a match. (Just like bombers in air RB). If you chose a tank, you will still be allowed to spawn a plane IF slot is still open. Number of initial air is limited.
In my opinion open spots for air first spawn should be filled and equal between teams before the game even started. So either you spawn in plane or tank first, there’s no switching allowed after you enter the queue.
Without having done tests, I don’t really care. Whatever works better.

I’d take you seriously if your concerns were actually about balance and not being ass blasted that a pubbie can skill check you with a 1000lb bomb
My K/D in F4U-4B makes my point stronger, not this one match which is one of many evidences that what I’m saying is true.
Which is harder? Destroying a tank on +1 B.R. with a tank or with a bomb?

I’m the one using CAS here ;).
It is so much easier to just rush a cap and bomb the best tank of the enemy team instead of trying to implement some tactic or actual skill.
So what are you complaining about? If CAS is that problematic, don’t use it. Take out a fighter instead of an attacker/fighter-bomber and clear the skies. You are not only failing to take action against your perceived problem but are actively taking part in it. Are you that hypocritical?
