If i dont die, but i need to deal with CAS plane that, if not dealt with, will kill me, what then?
Don’t die, and if you do, spawn SPAA or CAP. It’s not hard to hug a building or rock and become effectively invisible to CAS.

Your issue is literally surface level enough that a loading screen tip could solve it.
Then you’re on a part of the map you shouldn’t be, and you need to stop sitting out in the open.
It might seem that way to someone with surface level of understanding the issue.
What if only such cover is found far away from where all fighting takes place and it takes long time to get to it? Should i leave cap point and drive all the way to specific part of the map whenever CAS plane appears and once it leaves, drive back to cap?

I think it’s rather silly to complain about getting bombed, then claim that whoever doesn’t get bombed just doesn’t understand the issue.
If you know how to use cover against tanks then you know how to use cover against planes.
But responding to an issue with saying “just dont die” isnt silly?
Issue isnt question of how to use cover, but its aviability.

And that is the crux of the matter, premium helicopters, tanks, IFVs and aircraft a neatly packaged “top tier” line up.
Making the aircraft unplayable or too expensive to spawn and players will be frustrated. And not buy more premium aircraft.
Gaijin have broken the balance and the contract of the game with the player. “No top tier premiums” well we have them you can pretend they are not top tier but they clearly are. I genuinely believe it is this misguided approach that has killed War Thunder.

This is the result of their ignorance to the real problem.
It’s very hard to get into cas these days which is frustrating and discouraging for playing ground rb.
No my friend. War thunder is more alive than ever. It has more online players daily than it did at it’s peak last year. Numbers were about 120k in day time and 80k at night time.
Now it is about 150k day and 100k night.
Since there is no competition they keep growing. As soon as a single half-made competition shows up, these guys are smoked.
Seeds take time to grow, 5 years time - 10 years time.
The new players who joined the game at top tier and have nothing further to unlock will not buy 130 pound premiums.
So yes stating look how healthy the game is now matters not when Gaijin keep self sabotaging.
CAS is stupidly easy to get into a cap a kill and you are pretty much there.
