If you could, how would you re-balance CAS in Ground Battles?

More than that, for plenty of planes in higher tiers.

Already explained you this before. Check replays to see if they struggle on spaa or not.

Okay, go ahead and show decent performance with high tier cas jets of around 9.0-9.3 br. If its so easy and spaa cant deal with them.

Oh by the way. Do you realize cas stats get skewed heavily by people playing in arb and killing ground bots? Especially a10s, su25s which arent fast enough to grind bases so all they can do is kill ground bots.

Lets go by your logic. According to statshark, a10c has almost 5 kills / game. Now tell me, why gaijin moved such strong aircraft down to 11.7?

Su25T has 1.66 kills / game. Does it mean su25t is strongly inferior to a10c as cas? Keep in mind, thats stats for 12.0 a10c, before br decrease.

Tbf I just fly hight wait for other aircraft to distract SPAA cut engine off and fly completely silent and gun down the SPAA, they have no chance at dealing with me because I’m long gone by the time they respawn and most just claim bias or B’s game and leave lol.

If you can’t remove CAS , how about increasing it’s spawn points ? CAS shouldn’t even exists in ground battle when there exists a exclusive mode for air players, will it make sense if ground player spawn in SPAA in air battles ? If not then why the hell are aircraft allowed in ground battle and Air players have their own exclusive mode? Either give exclusive mode for tank players too or make it very hard to spawn aircrafts in ground rb by increasing spawn points requirements.

Also, they should be giving lower-tier spaa (gunned spaa) better targeting.
IRL spaa uses a different set of sights for air targets. But in-game we are stuck with ground attack sights which just don’t cut it vs CAS.

That’s an incredibly silly take. “Tanks should have it cause planes have it!” isn’t a valid point.

No, it would be incredibly boring + air battle maps have very low level of detail since you’re not supposed to see em from up close on the ground.

Because planes in ground battles actually makes sense.

CAS at top tier at least is a touchy topic because as an air player, CAS is honestly extremely weak when versing russia only which is a giant balance issue. Otherwise it’s fairly strong as you can gunrun TEL/TADS vehicles pretty easily. I’d balance it by making air to air loadouts VERY cheap to encourage CAP and maybe even giving players free aircraft (like the free tanks) to do CAP with. At lower tiers CAS needs to be more expensive, but at higher tiers something needs to be done about the new pantsir in order for CAS to begin being balanced. I’d suggest free cheap weaponless jamming aircraft like the raven to jam SPAAs, but that would only make other countries’ SPAA performance suffer even more as opposed to bringing russia’s performance down to their levels. The new pantsir is a massive issue.

Air battle mode exists , why we should we make ground battles air focused? Why air player get to participate in every mode? Dont you guys have your own exclusive mode ?

At higher tier too it should be very expensive like atleast get some good number of kills with a tank and not play ground battle just so you take off in plane the fastest and get easy kills

Again suggesting unconsciously/ consciously to make ground battles more air focused… why don’t you guys come up with interesting idea to be applied in your exclusive mode called air battles? Nuclear thunder was good mode even as a tank main i enjoyed it a lot have you guys thought maybe you could get some of that mechanic in your Air Battle instead of suggesting them to be applied in ground battles?

I am not russia fan but it’s won’t be a issue in first place if we don’t allow aircrafts in a mode which is meant for tanks

You wish to remove aircraft alltogether from GRB which is at least questionable but I don’t think gaijin would ever do that…I propose the ideas I do because people want more counters to CAS. You ask why I want to make grb more air focused when it is a tank gamemode shared by aircraft, with significant contraversy surrounding the aircraft. Solutions for aircraft problems will generally involve aircraft. If you want to play a tank in GRB you will play a tank, but if you wanna play a jet/heli you only need to scout targets or get 3 kills and then spawn the vehicle. Either way you can play what you wish at least somewhat easily (although aircraft are rewards for doing well/assisting your team). so adding more air based things to counter jets wouldn’t be an issue and isn’t making ground an air focused gamemode. Not more air focused than it already is at least.

Something I think that many ground mains fail to appreciate is that ground attacker aircraft are actually terrible in ARB. Not only is the gameplay very very stale, but even the strongest of them struggle to compete. There is ASB, but many dont like the limitations involved with it and the gamemode is all but abandoned by the devs currently. Even on a good day though. The gameplay isnt good.

That basically leaves GRB and GSB to have actually engaging and challenging CAS gameplay.

Then there are also helis, and they dont really get their own gamemode. Heli PvE is a buggy, half-baked bodge-job they threw together years ago and then just forgot about. Expecting players to play Heli PvE to play a heli just… isnt reasonable.

So… TLDR… For the aircraft most commonly used in GRB (with the exception of the top tier multiroles) the short answer would be no. They actually dont.

And now in next update they can fix the guidance of fire and forget missiles after launching too, another buff of air players in ground battle, air player are so much rewarded it’s clearly driven by profit motives

It is only for air battles, wont work in ground modes
