I don’t think it destroyed the WW2 CAS gameplay. The 1st spawn cost the same as it always been and can still do heavy damage to tanks if used right…The 1000 SP is just for the 2nd CAS plane used, even if its just 1 small bomb. Just have to not die on the 1st CAS run and CAS smarter.

Why not ask SPAA to be smart? Are you asking the highest cost staff to do smart for what, using brain to calculate the bomb/rockets like CCIP/CCRP? SPAA could also cause heavy damage to CAS, and has over 4 chances to respawn different SPAAs, and even a cap, WWII is not the same a toptier, not all CAS can be able to against CAS and CAP, even the best CAS planes will need to drop the loadouts to against the CAP in dogfight.
By the way, Gaijin also nerfed big bombs, now CAS situation is going to be like a one time revange weapon instead of CAS was supposed to be, which caused the win-rate to lose control

And also full armor protects SPAAs, making the balance worse. like British CAS, almost unable to use once they respawn, and also for German CAS, once there is a Cold War Spaa or like Skink, CAS with cannons is almost impossible. high chance in bad weather make it get worse; not all nations have YAK9K or MB326s, even though I don’t see that there are a lot person know how to use these 2 as well.
The SPAAs with high-penetration ammo should be charged more SP as CAS to force them to focus on the air instead of IFVs.

A good joke is that most players K/R is lower than 1.5. Is CAS supposed to be like Kamikaze? I don’t want to see more Stuka or HE111 in BR 6.7 to be honest, they are so strong that will make the ground players go crazy with a revenge kill XD

But the Stink is actually just a worse Wirbelwind at a higher BR with a lot more armor? It’s nowhere as effective at killing aircraft than BTR-ZD or the others.
Just don’t fly near it or try to strafe it, he can’t hit you if you don’t get closer than 0.4km.

I 100% have asked players that are on SPAA to play smarter in the past and still do. Shared SPAA hotspots here instead of gatekeeping them, videos of my gameplay, and many advice if one wishes to follow them.

So, due to CAS players copying this method, which honestly works pretty well against top tier SAMs. They cannot detect or lock at exactly 90 degrees. I took out the Type 81 C for a spin and downed plenty of players copying this method due to having no lock issues. Only negative part is the radar but it isn’t useful.
Kid you not a player recently got mad and called me a monkey, pointed out I have a 73% in Ground performance and trashed talked the whole time after shooting him down doing this exact thing 😂Last time i played serious was months ago at 94% performance. At the moment I’m just playing to play cuz idc much about sweating. Anyways, a lot of CAS mains have been flying super close and copying this method making the Type 81 C IR missiles more useful or any other IR missile in that matter while others in the team use their multi Radar SAM. (Team work)
So, if any of you players in a SAM, be aware of this method. Use terrain to incline or decline to get radar lock once you notice someone doing this. Will help.
