That is pure conjecture. Premium ground pounders will still be attractive as GRB would continue to exist,
and who’s to say that TO enthusiasts wouldn’t spend more on a game mode they find much less frustrating?
I did nothing of the sort. I merely highlighted that your derogatory likening of TO proponents to Vegans inadvertently showed that catering to a sizeable minority can very well be profitable.
What’s wrong with actually getting good at the game by enjoying it? there’s so many way to spend money anyway outside of premiums…….i’m losing brain cells catching up on this thread
Well, considering Warthunder’s entire business model, Gajin is to say that.
If anything, you showed the difference between a product that gets more sales by catering to niche communities, v.s a company that gets less by catering to niche communities.
Bombers are fun but not rewarding
Naval its naval…
Tanks its fun and maybe a bit rewarding ??? depending on how much you did in the match
Your money, your decisions so i cant argue with that
Huge issue that doesn’t seem to be mentioned is TEL ammo capacity when engaging multiple repeated mass strikes, you can easily run a TEL out of missiles with a single JAGM salvo, pop back down, and just reload and do it again. While ammo replenishment is an option with the ammo boxes those boxes run out and it takes a long while to replenish missiles. Spawn points should allow ammo replenishment for SPAA just like points do.
AHEAD rounds are also super broken and buggy, I could really see a use case for the German AHEAD systems or the CIWS as far as missile defence is concerned. Watching an LMUR spammer send his fifth salvo and pop back down only for it to just get completely intercepted 20 seconds later because he has no other tactics would be a real treat.
I’m not saying they will buy more. I’m not saying they will buy none. I’m saying they will buy less. I really don’t know how to make this any more clear to you.
