It doesn’t make any sense however, the implication is that people are more inclined to buy tank premiums when there are planes and helicopters to destroy them than when there are not.
The implication is frustrated players are more likely to buy prems to shorten the grind.
The grind to what? Eager to get to top tier where the CAS issue is even worse? What is the goal here? Not like you can grind your beyond the issues.
Gajin’s target audience is new naive players who don’t know better.
Because any informed player knows how futile it is, if only they made some changes so they don’t have to bait people.
Yes, if only Gajin was like VALVe. In the mean time however, it’s unlikely that Gajin will spend any time or money on niche features.
welcome Gaijin’s most trusted ambassador, pangolin_fan.
he knows best what the company wants and is sure to defend its values no matter the validity of presented problems
There’s been a total of about one (1) time i’ve seen him say something normal on here, and reading his most recent group of replies is kind of crazy to say that people would buy them less because the grind itself isn’t frustrating. Is he trying to ignore the fact that cas isn’t as much of a grind issue as it is a fun issue for some?
For him it is not an issue as without it he wouldn’t have a chance against other ground players and with CAS he can do something to them
This absolutely makes no sense. Why would players buy less premiums if those would speed up ground vehicles grind and those players are interested in ground vehicles? Players would definately buy more premium tanks if ground vehicles grind is frustrating to speed up the grind. They would definately not buy other premium stuff if they are not interested in it as they already don’t do. So in the end more premium stuff would be sold. Not less.
It’s simply how Gajin’s business model works. A pay for conviniece system naturally encourages the devs to make playing inconvenient.
Holy crap, I must have said something absolutely insane and unhinged for Maldrok of all ppl to consider it normal.
What has Gaijin business model has to do what players would buy?
Again with TO present Gajin could only expect rise in sell of ground premium vehicles not drop. Players which are using ground forces now would buy new premium ground vehicles because they are interested in playing them. They don’t buy premium planes/helis/ships anyways because they are not interested in playing them.
Lets go back to the actual topic
To Re-Balance CAS for GRB its simple in words
Make bombs more expensive, expecially the big ones
Make interceptors with AA missiles and AA belt cheaper cause some times it cost me 400 SP…to just defend the air space from 1 single dude the whole match
Shove every airfield and helipad like 80 km away EACH from each other and from the battlefield…its absurd that in some maps, the first helipad its just 4 km close to the battlefield,FaF dream without even moving from that helipad
Implement more SPAA and AA
Top tier its defenseless at shorter range if you dont have something with guns
Put better tutorials for new players to learn how to properly shoot a plane from range without radars since at lower BRs,most player that arent high level struggle to even kill me going in a straight line above them
. . . dude
Their business model is to sell the most premiums they can is it not? Or they want to earn less which i doubt?
Their business model is directly related to ppl buying prens. That is literally the whole point of business.
So why would sell of premiums drop with TO?
Warthunder is pay to conviniece, which means Gajin aims to get money from frustrated players paying to shorten the grind.
Scenario A, TO fans actually enjoy TO, they’re not gonna feel pressured to by prems as much so that’s just a waste of money to Gajin.
Scenario B, TO fans don’t enjoy TO, and it just joins the pile of dead gamemodes. To make things worse first Gajin, TO fans quit WT altogether after realizing it’s not CAS that makes them angry, it’s just Warthunder.
Either way, Gajin has no incentive to add TO.
Scenario A is logically flawed. If players enjoy game mode they will buy premiums to use them and speed up grind.
Scenario B is also somewhat logically flawed. If TO players would quit WT because its not CAS and WT they will quit anyways (as some already did).
That’s not how WT’s business model works. If Gajin was like VALVe, then TO would have a legit chance at being added, but as it stands right now TO is just clutter in the forums
I was specifically referring to the players that play whilst holding on to some sort of hope that everything will be better if CAS were removed.
