If you could, how would you re-balance CAS in Ground Battles?

BS number 1: Not much especially your team can’t detect them which is a headache. Add it as a visible marker like realistic air battle have which helps not only team but also spaa a lot in tracking target…

Another BS number 2: I don’t think anyone will spend thousands of books on how to spaa in games especially fighting against maneurverable schizo fighter without leading shot indicator especially at range.

But sure there are folks who have thousands of hours on it can figure out lead indicator

Wdym removing air markers?

I mean removing ground markers of friendly vehicles for aircrafts

If you’re having trouble spotting planes then that’s your problem. No one else has issues spotting the vehicles which are visible from the moment they spawn, have one fixed spawnpoint that everyone can see on map, and are loud af.

figuring out lead is easy. every single air realistic player has this skill

comparing air vs air to ground vs air is purely comedic

Edit: There is nothing wrong in stating the truth

Sure bud can’t even let people spot those planes like ones in realistic air battle for team is somehow my skill issue…

  1. I barely find folks playing air realistic in NA server judging by how long it takes compare to air arcade…
  2. Spaa to air and air to air are literally different because on one side you can get very close and achieve kill with less lead shot skill and another is literal more than 1km away with trash dispersion and speed and can confuse spaa very easily with maneuvers…

I doubt using just skill alone won’t solve cas problems

Buddy, this ain’t air realistic. You don’t need nanetags on enemies. If you think you do then that genuinely is skill issue.

You do know about T 6 1, right?

ARB is pretty unpopular below 3.7 cause all new players are in arcade. You can get into a match in under 30 seconds at any other br.

The only real difference is you wait for planes to come to your teammates (it’s a defense vehicle, duhh) and in exchange you don’t run the risk of being outmaneuvered by a better plane or player.

SPAA is designed to be as skilless as possible.

That is why You are so good in it right?

CAS is designed to be much more skilless than that

CAS is designed to have low risk with low reward. Saying SPAA requires more skill than CAS is just dishonest.

You have never seen Sim battles then…
You already a big ah arrow on the minimap showing you air support its up,do 2+2

But Gaijin has to make proper tutorials on how to shoot down planes and longer ranges

Low risk you say?I dont remember at which br specifically but around 8.0-9.0 you get overpowered SPAA that can shoot missiles with proxy at planes without countermeasures
If you manage to dodge the missiles, here comes another one then you get lasered by broken SPAA at that br range

Yeah…

I wonder how this overpowered laser AA deals with weapons that can kill them outside of their effective range

Yeah, sadly Gajin’s balancing abilities completely fell off after the WW2 BRs. From my experience in LAV-AD, most stinger vehicles could easily go to 10.3+ and still be powerful.

At that BR range you maybe can BOMB toss but thats fairly it for (effective range)

OR

Maybe you can shoot unguided rockets from very far away but that takes skills to hit precisely

Firstly they have to lower SP costs for AA missiles for fighters then they have to increase SP cost per bomb/rocket for any plane
The difference between spawning a fighter without bombs or a striker with 3 bombs its like 100/200 SP depending what plane those are, useless to say how stupidly easy its to get those SP to run a full bomb loadout

Anyone can look at the game and see that it is just a lot of bollocks as helis, guided rockets/bombs exist at that B.R. range and can deal with SPAA outside of their effective range.

Gepard from 8.3 can meet an Mi-24A for example that can just use falange from 2km and be untochable by gepard. That is just one example, should I go on?

SPAA at that BR range can kill fairly easy anything under 3/4 KM so…

They really can’t.

You can see traces from SPAA and just move a little to right/left while still aiming at the SPAA and taking it out.

Youre a sitting duck tho and the helies at that BR excluding the Hind, they are made out of paper,if you barely touch anything in those they are cooked
