Well, leaving aside the problem of not being able to lock on due to cloudy weather, the AGM65, launched at an altitude of 2,000 meters at the maximum speed of the F16, would take more than 40 seconds to fly 12,000 meters.
The KH38 is launched at a subsonic speed at a lower altitude of 1,800 meters and can fly 12,000 meters in just 23 seconds.
Are they the same? Are they the same difficulty to intercept? Are they the same pressure on the anti-aircraft vehicles? Oh and don’t forget that the 95ya6 is much better than the vt1
Su-34 doesn’t have a thermal targeting pod, and KH-38s will still be 20km
Pretty sure the SU-34 has integrated FLIR on the same level as found on the SU-25SM3 so not having a targeting pod isn’t a issue - should be on the underbelly of the aircraft if I recall (did a bit of research on the SU-34 like 4 years ago so my memory is a bit foggy).
The FLIR in real life has the ability to stick out in a way and retract which is a cool feature, doubt it’ll be modelled however (probably will be in a fixed place).
To you, all Russian weapons are not that powerful and have to be lower in the weight scale, right, like you said about the 2S38,For novice players like you, I think it’s better not to discuss game weights. You are unfair and have no foresight.
The KH38 can be launched at a height of 2,000 meters and 14 kilometers, while the AGM65 must be directly above the battlefield and has no high-throw trajectory. If there is no height and speed advantage in the actual launch distance, there will not be much hit rate at a height of 8 kilometers or 2,000 meters. There is a high probability that it will hit the main armor. You have the nerve to say that they are missiles of the same level.
Me: “2S38 should be 0.3 BRs higher.”
War Thunder: Moves it up by 0.3.
Your post can claim that moving up 2S38 is unfair all you want. Keep defending the 2S38 and KH-38, all your post is doing is proving NATO players correct.
AGM-65D/G has fragged almost all targets I’ve fired on.
My dear brother, the US is the only country in the world that has developed multiple stealth bombers, you can’t expect to add tech to countries that never used them
“We feel weapons that can be used outside of the direct line of sight of the target without needing any preliminary reconnaissance or direct user targeting are not currently workable for the game.” said gaijin, how ridiculous!!
They should just say
“Brimstone can fire outside our beloved Pantsir range with FnF and with radar seekers it will be too easy against our beloved Pantsir”
yep that what they should say
