esspecaily planes like vautour need a rework of the gameplay, on the one side we need the win condition AF destroyed back and on the other hand in the past the vautour could outrun the most enemy planes and i think that should come back, in the past there were some faster planes but those coulnd turn that good, some slower planes with AAM and some slower planes with only better acceleration but over time we got a lot of planes like the F11F1 with AAM, Afterburner, higher speed and better turnrate then vautour
Nice to see others assessing the missing “airfield destroyed” as important - and i do agree that that certain bombers solely relying on speed (like the defenseless Ar 234 at 6.3) need an adjustment of their BRs in order to use this advantage.
That gaijin pulled a lot of very capable fighters that low that there is little to no chance to make those high speed bombers viable is just gaijins way to express their dislike of classic bomber game play.
I’d be more than happy to return to the 30 second timer on bases, but they should probably also add some sort if diminishing returns on rewards based in aircraft role.
Bombers can destroy 4-6 bases before rewards sharply drop off
Strike aircraft can destroy 2 bases
Fighters can destroy 1 base
Don’t know how well that would work on high tiers where everything is a fighter, but certainly on low/mid tiers it would make flying a bomber somewhat rewarding again.
The myriads of fresh players (which are throwing money at gaijin like hell) don’t even know that this forum exists…
This , this is the best way to fix one of the many problem of ARB. But since top tier jet are mostly premium it is not highly possible and like many people mentioned , the more people fall back to basebombing as their main way of grinding the TT instead of playing the game as a fighter role, it seem extremely unlikely

Personally, I feel that for people that want to bomb or need to bomb with designated bombers / attackers the base HP should be increased and not the respawn timer. Basically, “a larger base that needs more to be killed”. Could also have a greater effect on ticket drain.
That way, going for a quick base strike & base destroyed bonus for the “bot play” is nulled as then bases actually need teamwork to be destroyed and can benefit more than one player. Same time, it gives fighters something to do cause actively defending your strike/bomb craft and base aids in win.
It would kinda null the “fly forward and die” mentality.

Reward = to the amount of bond dropped in tnt mass.
So you can be heavy and get more or light and get less, you choose. Base 3K RP per 5000Lb.
Let’s say you need 20k Lb to kill a base that gives 4 “light” load players a chance. +2k bonus RP to each player on base destroyed.
Now, what if everyone goes strike/bomb craft? There will always be a player with a full air loadout to prevent that. It is in our nature to go for “easy” kills.
Tbh they could add more advance bomber and create a whole new mode for horde of bomber instead of just a few bomber and bunch of fighter eager to get their free RP/SL. Since historically bomber tend to fly in group to bomb target not a few spreading out just to get picked apart before they could do anything meaningfully. And from there expand to strike aircraft and such but I guess then we have to change the reward a bit since we doing a new mode for people who trying to bomb base. And potentially remove base from ARB as a whole or nerf it further to discourage fighter player from taking bomb

The game was once like that. It was explicitly changed not to be like that. So what you see now is a design decision applied to your suggestion in the past.
