i have a idea that im wondering if it would work in air rb, what if instead of putting the planes at a specific br, the LOADOUT will determine the br, this will make new missile additions available, and stock vehicles alot less painful to play. If this was implemented, stock vehicles with no missiles would be at a lower br (for br vehicles 8.0 to 10.0) however i feel like this would work better with higher tiers, if the user is not using ARHM’s they will be decreased in battle rating by .3, vise versa, this would be beneficial for top teir users because it adds a place for… lets say aim-9x and python4/5, the better the missile loadout, the higher the br. the problem would just be finding out how to balance the br changes.
I think it would be a better use of time to work on actual decompression, rather than figuring out how all of that will work, and how it would be balanced.
This bans people from being able to change loadouts in-matches which lead to people leaving matches the moment they see the map.
This isn’t your idea, and it’s been correctly shut down for years at this point.
Especially when almost all BRs are decompressed now.
It’s effectively just 13.0 and 9.0 that’s still compressed in air.
just because you have seen it before doesn’t mean its not my idea, would appreciate if you just told me why it doesn’t work, i completely forgot about the loadout change mid game, as not many people do it, they either die immediately from a Amram at top tier, or survive long enough to win the game
i don’t like that mechanic anyway, its unrealistic, the fact that you can go and get 8 more amrams in 20 seconds after flying for 15 minutes is insane, i could see reloading guns and repairing, but removing the reload of armaments in air rb would make people be more careful with their missiles, instead of just missile spamming and heading back to the base
They do it at the spawn of the game depending on the map.
If you don’t like realism then World of Warplanes exists as well as Ace Combat.
The idea that functions is DCS’s where the game master is allowed to restrict loadouts of specific aircraft.
Now, whether that’d work great in random battles… maybe not, but it’s not the utterly anti-realism idea of preventing people from switching from their bomb loadout to an air loadout on loading into the map forcing them to leave the match after loading.
thanks for being snarky, always helps the community
I dont think you claim that installing more missiles in 20 sec is unrealistic than turn around and say that installing new gear and a wing in 30 sec is fine.
As for your idea, it would add a lot more balancing that would need to happen. Jets would go from needing to keep track of 1 set of data to 3-4.
I think it would also cause more compression. People could take a 12.0 jet and effectively fight 10.3 jets by using missiles that are still effective at that br. Imagine fighting a f14 in your mig21 because they decided to not use the aim54.
tes, try to not pay and game gonna be fine we know no pay means account nerfed but gaijin lose money so mayb e changes gonna be fine if u not pay rigged games
