I just had a sub 12 minute match in second place on my team with 2295 mission score which is axed down by multiplier. The top score on enemy team was 3426.

8-10 minutes with some matches at less than 3500 means you have occasional games up near 5k. Scoring 4k in 8 minutes is just as unlikely.

Let me look:
8:19 playing time for about 4500 score.
7:43 … 4000 score.
6:53 … 4100 score.
8:06 … 4800 score.
This must be boomer hour when people are just playing pve.
As I said, the time after the star started is not the best. Tomorrow or Wednesday morning would be better, but I wanted to check if my estimate of 2 hours is about correct.

Even if true those numbers are so untypical that bringing them in any sort of argument is very sus and utterly pointless.

Even if it’s repeatable, sitting at my computer for 2 playing hours of 2.7 uptiered bomber runs hoping to not get shot down sounds like the most insane thing…
The kicker being to skip day 1 of the star to pray for the golden pve hour to get in free bombing runs. If you miss this window somehow or it doesn’t exist, that’s a day lost that you could have ground half the star.
As I already said (several times), it isn’t exactly exciting. If I had not done this to satisfy my curiosity, I would simply have farmed my tasks today and tomorrow and spaded some jets in RB. And tomorrow evening, I would have used my optimized method for whatever remains undone. Which would have been the better time to do it. It worked out to about 110 min still. But there is no praying involved, just averages.
I’m actually considering not finishing the 8/10. This is the most unfun gameplay ever. 10 year old game, no updates.
Sorry to hear that. I myself don’t bother about sea or land, because I have no interest in the vehicles (wouldn’t even know which) nor the time to do them. The swedish J9 is very useful, so it was a must. The jet is just another Mirage, that would need SL for crewing, experting and modules. But it only takes me 6 stars to be able to sell it and get something I like. And air takes way less time (for me).
