I will never grind another Air event again

“Slave” food? What on the earth you’re talking about?
“disgusting, fake, cheap “food” not meant for human or animal consumption”
Bro, you have issues, I recommend medical expert visit.

Trust the science.

You need to wake up.

Doritos is not food.

If you eat it so often that it’s part of your identity and zeitgeist that you equate every triangular object you see with doritos, you need to get out into nature.

Dude, your cancer food intake is low. Go to a doctor so he can get you back on cancer food.

This is why I come to the Warthunder forums, for this sort of advice.

Bro, you aren’t enjoying the game that consumes all your time? Eat more slave food.

Identity? Again, wtf man? Doritos are the part of the popular culture. US knows of them and I live in EU and know about them. Frankly, I do not care for the rest of the world. If you like to drink fermented chia beans and do not understand cultural reference, oh well.

Just because one factory of one brand has some issues means nothing. They are based on corn for the most part. Half of the world eats corn regularly.

If you didn’t get what I was talking about, you could ask, not being unnecessarily confrontational and hostile. You’re just wasting everyone’s time with such attitude.

I have to do work to understand your basic premise when you’re already using acronyms. I’m sure doritos are highly popular among you and your slave friends, but I genuinely had no idea what you were talking about for a while. Maybe you should change your views as to what is popular. Doritos are extremely unhealthy. They are not “just corn.” hahaha

Go ahead and tell me what Disodium Guanylate is or what ingredients they’re referring to when they say “natural and artificial flavor.” Not to mention Sunflower oil, canola, and corn oil which are known to cause cancer and all manner of heart problems. Did I mention diabetes?

It was updated this year.
40k is easy to get as well.

Again, “slave”? Is that some new sort of neoliberal media buzzword created to marginalize normal people? Or do you think I’m … black? WHAT IS GOING ON??

Doritos are over 90% made of CORN, VEGETABLE OIL , MALTODEXTRIN (MADE FROM CORN), rest are standard industrial based food additives everyone’s been eating for decades. Sure, if you’re a mountain man that slaughters your own sheep and drinks only spring water, I guess you have tha point but something tells me you’re just a privileged moron that overthinks stuff way too much. Or maybe I’m wrong Idk : ) In short do not message me again, please. Begone. Find a hobby. Stop call people slaves. Just a friendly advice.

I think point based system is far superior to previous way they ran those 5 mini tasks where you had to complete 3 in order to get the star. Actually those too got adjusted somewhere down the line.

The 5 included:

  • Destroy 35/18/12 player air vehicles in AB/RB/SB (either AB, RB or SB)
  • Win 10 battles with 60% or higher activity
  • Drop 10 tons of Bomb TNT on the bases in total
  • Destroy 11/4/2 player air vehicles in one battles in AB/RB/SB (either AB, RB or SB)
  • Help allies destroy enemy vehicles 7 times

While in a whole those aren’t as bad, some of those specifically are team reliant meaning that you can do well but then your team just vanishes so you could be stuck with 1st and 4th one and hoping for some wins or assists.
With point based system, it’s all about you. The more score you get, the sooner you’ll be over. How you do it? It’s entirely up to you.

Just my two cents

Events should be a bonus not a part-time job, they shouldn’t require multiple hours of grinding for one part of it, they should be something that just kinda happens. 40k score is way too much for any of the modes, it should really be like 20k

If you don’t have the free time that is what the GE is for.
It is always up to you whether you value 1 - 3 hours of your time or $5.

No, it’s not a matter of money and time. It’s a matter of participation. I want to participate in the event, but it is an absurd event. It requires way too much participation. Settling for the part-way rewards like AI developed snowboard girl portraits are a slap in the face type of suggestion.

You haven’t been in War Thunder long then.
Events use to require far more time than they do today.
First events required up to 7 hours a day of play.
Then they dropped to 4 hours a day until the score system.
Score system which is what we have today is 45 - 120 minutes a day.

It used to be worse.

People say this about every grind in every game. Just because you’re used to the abuse doesn’t mean the current design is a good thing.

Completely agree, but given how it has been lately, I doubt any changes will be made to see changes towards a brighter aspect of this, especially for us that do not have the amount of time required in the allotted time frames to achieve the necessary requirements for the free unlocks… so if it seems worth it… I would consider purchasing if the price was right vs the performance of said vehicle.

Dude, if you don’t have 45 - 120 minutes of free time a day, then get better at time management.
It’s not abuse.

yeah and thats one of the biggest problems

also idk what game you’re playing but it takes way longer than 45-120 its more like 4 hours per day or 8 hours in one day

It’s not 45-120.
25 minutes in a tickets remaining ground strike air arcade battle at tier 4 nets me about 3-4k points. A lot of arcade battles end quickly between those large chunks, where I only get 1k per 10 minutes or less. It becomes an extremely tedious thing to queue, and then fly in to the map over and over again. It takes hours just to get halfway in one day. Then I have to grind naval and tank.

It takes 2 - 3 hours every 2 days for the naval task [I’m just lazy].
1 - 3 hours every 2 days for air cause A-10, F-111, etc.
And 2 - 5 hours for ground cause I’m worse at ground but I have the good 5.7 & 6.7 lineups to augment that.

@Pentay
Well arcade makes sense on why it could take you longer.
Air RB & air sim were always the best for a reason.

OH OK THANKS DUDE THANKS FOR JOINING THE THREAD
and reading my caps

The fastest way to get score remains killing ground targets in air RB, or base/AF bombing in sim.
The only thing holding you back is having aircraft that can do those things consistently.
