I think J10B would be a better addition to the game right now than J10C

I say this because it would give the chinese a 14.3 aircraft, with a updated airframe making it lighter, better avionics including hms, mfd’s, aesa radar and for later EW suite. It also gets a upgraded engine with or without the thrust vectoring nozzles, in my proposal it would be without to have the j10C come later and have a bit more differences than just a better radar, engines + newer missiles such as pl10, pl15. the j10B i think can carry PL15 but imo they would be too OP for their stated range and would be like a very fast and very maneuverable fakour 90. So yep a J10A with all around improvement but same missile load out. would be much better than what the US got with the golden eagle lol

Both should be in game by now imo

Also I guess the J-10C can always get the newer missiles when they are introduced, kind of like the EFT and Strike Eagle got C5’s after a few months.

Newer not better, he mentioned the PL-15, which is a big jump in performance from the PL-12.

Going from the Aim-120A/B to the C5 was more like a jump backward, but that’s because the missile (like many others) is modelled like crap.

C5 should be better but it’s simply not rn.

Just no point, the only difference between J-10B and J-10C are some minor EW/avionic changes and the PESA → AESA, depending on block they would have different engines, but both have used WS-10 at some point.

They would have identical flight models (with same engine), however you are just trading off avionic and radar quality, so it’s utterly pointless to add the B over the C.

The B is premium material given it’s very limited production and downgrades over the C

The WS-10B TVC was only trialled on a J-10B, and hasn’t re-emerged since, of which I’d rather see a Thrust Vectoring J-10B come over the production model since it actually adds something of substance to the tree.

For PL15(or sth like aim260 idk) the main problem is the ARB game map is still to crowded. 100km is not enough, or players just launch msls at game start. It’s better added after a new mode come out.
Let’s think about new generation IR msls like PL10(for the us, AIM9X).
