There is no SPAA in War Thunder with a 25km range, and you fragging CAS that have skill issues only proves my point.

If you need 5km for 30+km range munitions, that’s a serious issue on your end.
Fox 3s don’t defeat radar missiles, chaff and notching does, which you learn in air RB.

Since it does GRB a lot better compared on a10C.

Aircraft in GRB go to 12.7, and it does matter. Ground matches of 12.0+ exist, it just means less severe downtiers. 12.0 only matches are in essense “13.0” matches, etc. Queing with a 12.7 aircraft in GRB means you can not face people with lineups with 11.3 BR maximum, etc. It matters.
I believe actually since 12.7 BR exist, it’s also possible to enter a “13.7” match so to speak, meaning that everybody in the match has a 12.7 aircraft in their lineup. Anyways, for CAS this mainly matters because entering a higher BR bracket against Russia means a higher count of Pantsirs.
AV-8 Plus is always in my setup, until I unlocked F-15E or F/A-18 I only attack on it. But I would like to attack on A-10C, I would like to give it a second chance.
Glide bombs use wings to fly further than the 7 - 12km that normal bombs can fly at.
That and with the massive SP nerf IR guided weapons got, glide bombs are the most interesting anti-SPAA weapon since they out-range all SPAA in the game by over 10km.

I’ve used glide bombs and faced glide bombs for over 2 hours in practice.
Custom battles in F-15E don’t show up in stat cards. The glide bombs have over 60km launching from 10km up BTW.

F15E vs A10C on glide bombs have enormous difference.
F15 you can actually get altitude and reach that mach 1.0
In a10C you have max speed little over 600km/h and you wont get that altitude :D :D :D :D :D

It is also objectively the correct thing to do to trick the system to put 6 Mavericks on the jet, given it is the devs own pathetic fault for limiting the aircraft to an anachronistic TGP, which is the only one with the limit, and not allowing a 5x maverick load which is also possible with said old TGP.
Ngl, it’s the only reason why I even play the thing. If it had less than 6, I would just not use it at all at its current BR. Just no reason over the AV-8B at that point, the GBU-39s are cool and all, but with the airframe, being condemned to fly treelevel only due to Pantsirs is not fun.

I drop GBU’s on enemy spawn, and they land 40s later in there. And that is completely from spawn and going mach 1.
Yeah, but popping up to spot the tented up S1 in their spawn, then dipping back down and lobbing a load of SDBs over a hill at them will never get old.
And it’s fun to remember how limited the jet is by “balancing decisions” that only go one way…
That’s why I don’t bring top BR CAS, cause perpetually permanent uptiers for a vehicle that costs 3x as much as an average next-spawn is not a good idea.
