In connection with the recent nerf of the A-10C, I propose to reduce its BR to 11.3.
After the nerf, it has 3 Maverick AGM-65D with a targeting container, which is very little even for 11.0.
This aircraft flies slower than piston aircraft, the launch range of Mavericks is only 10 km.

This isn’t even recent, this has been the case since its introduction so I don’t foresee any intention for a BR reduction. Also I suppose you mean its BR for GRB right? Topic is currently tagged with air battles, in which I don’t agree to lower it at all, however there it should get a forewards (air)spawn (something that was “promised” but never implemented).
For GRB I could see the argument for 11.7, 11.3 I think would make it a bit too strong, which is maybe unwanted. But 11.3 would fill a gap for CAS for the US, as far as that is important. I mean personally I’d really like something with a TGP at 11.3, because I don’t own the A-7K, which I think is otherwise fairly comparable tier for tier at 11.0 (to like a 11.7 A-10C that is).
Is the AIM-9M some kind of imbalance missile? Or do you think that at 11.3 A-10C with AIM-9M will upset the balance in the sky? I just don’t remember that this missile on the A-10C could shoot down anyone. Besides, it’s an attack aircraft, not a fighter.
No, it was recently changed, when I went into the A-10C weapons menu it told me that your setup would be changed. And it said why. I was flying with 6 mavericks and a targeting system before.
In air battles it should be removed altogether, since it does not have time to fly to the battlefield before the end of the battle. I pumped it up in simulator battles, and in Avia RB you will return with zero every battle.
You can still equip 6, it will just always prompt you to change it if you load up the game again with it or equip it in your lineup. But the intention of the 4 mav limit with TGP was always here since the beginning, they tried fixing the 6x mav bug like months ago, but in essence nothing changed.

su-39 is better than the a-10c is every way yet its still a lower/same br (idr)

id like to lower the BR on A10A/C, AV8 Harrier, and A6E.
also ALL of those jets NEED a forward air spawn in air RB because they are slow and useless and have ZERO hope of making it to a target when their are dozens of super-sonics running around…
Heck its so bad 70% of the time the game is over (win or lose) before you ever even make it to the blue bases, let alone the red to get points… God i HATE huge maps with ultra slow aircraft.

Imagine 10.3s fighting AIM-9Ms.
Now imagine how A-10C fights against R-77-1 and MICA and AIM-120B. There is nothing ultimate in AIM-9M, I played A-10C against Su-30 today and it evaded all my missiles.
I do t get this fascination of wanting ground strike aircrafts to be competetive in air to air role.
Its the reason we had Su-25K at 9.7 at release and it was terrible for anyone but Su-25K players.
Same story with A-10A early.
Should they be useless? No. But solution to their struggle isnt to place them at BR where they are competetive in air to air combat.
Because it only gets 2 and no HMD while having worse optics

No. I’m not dealing with another A-10A situation where IRCCM gets involved. IRCCM does not belong any lower.

I think the A-10C should not be able to carry air-to-air missiles in Tank RB and should be lowered to 10.7 (for Tank RB) as an alternative to the A-10 late that would trade the AIM-9s and 2 Mavericks for a targeting pod and laser bombs. As it stands, it’s completely obsolete in Tank rb and is a meme in air rb and needs a reason to exist.
