Damn… Leave a10a late alone. I remember playing it on top tier grb with pantsirs and i still got >1kd. With A10C i have almost 3kd now tho theres this annoying apkws ccip bug
Well idk apkws are an absolute unit against s1 or sny spaa
The A-10C released at 11.3, there is a good reason why it was moved up in one of the BR changes after a while.
Please tell me what was the reason for putting it on par with the Su-34 and Su-33?
Use the glide bombs and target enemy SPAA, that’s what I’m going to do when I get mine.
Also the Su-34 and Su-30SM are higher BRs than the A-10C.
It’s not though? A-10C is 11.7/12.0 in ARB/GRB, Su-34 is 13.3/12.7 and Su-33 is 13.0/12.3.
It’s therefore not “on par” with them, because the BR isn’t the same, but sure it can meet them in the matchmaker in GRB, in which case it really does suck. But for ARB, it literally can not even face them unless you like squadding up with someone using a 12.0+ plane.
GRB situation kinda sucks for near top tier planes like the A-10C due to going from a 14.0 ceiling to only a 12.7 one, which makes planes that normally never face fox 3s suddenly face them.
Actually you wont be doing that.
Idea is nice, but since it is 12.0 plane, subsonic and flying brick it is shot down pretty quick when trying to get altitude to effectively drop those bombs, since it doesnt have speed to do it.
But who cares about enemy AA , since you will most likely eat fox 3 soon as you spawn that in air.
glide bombs? Are you serious? With its speed, I’ll have to get 5 km or even closer to the shell. In general, flying the A-10C among the Su-30 and Su-34 that see you but you don’t see them, and without speed, radar, or FOX-3, is simply suicide. No. The A-10C is absolutely not suitable for this BR, I just feel sorry that the developers simply destroyed such a legendary aircraft. It is practically not in combat.
you truly have no clue about a10.
It doesnt perform like rafale, or su34 etc.
AA will hit you , it’s you who is lacking range while going 600km/h in a flying bathtub.
Chaff and notch all you want, but you wont hit anything either while spending match spamming chaffs and flyin on tree line.
I love when I see a10 in flakrad , pantsir or even tunguska.
If you want the A-10C to go down then the Tornado GR.1 also needs to go down as well, playing that thing at 11.7 without any IRCCM missiles and only 2x AIM-9Ls is pure pain.
In general, I am amazed that someone modeled these planes, invested effort and labor and money, and in the end this plane just sits and gathers dust in everyone’s hangar, no one flies it. It seems to me that this looks very strange.
@SFmerc
Well I hope one day you learn about A-10, it’s sad you’ve come here to post lies and disinformation.
There is no SPAA in War Thunder with a 25km range, and you fragging CAS that have skill issues only proves my point.
@Demokrat4
If you need 5km for 30+km range munitions, that’s a serious issue on your end.
Fox 3s don’t defeat radar missiles, chaff and notching does, which you learn in air RB.
if I want to use 12.0 plane in ground I rather use av8+
Since it does GRB a lot better compared on a10C.
Main reason it is speed. You actually have a slight change to do something. And you get fox3’s
Jesus, what are you talking about? We have a maximum combat rating of 12.0 in GB. It doesn’t matter that Aviation is higher.
What are you talking about? What is the range of 30 km for the A-10C?
Planes go up to 12.7 in ground so if youre playing 11.3 grouns you wont fight things like the su30 and su34 because they are 12.7
So I’m spreading misinformation , since I actually have that plane, and have actually used that plane and spaded that, not just imaging how I could just toss GBU’s on enemy spaa , and be completely invulnerable to enemy aa.
News flash, you wont get 25km range on a10C in ground games.
But it is better to leave you live in your fantasy land.
Like I told you have 0 clue and 0 experience in A10C so get back in here after you get that and got that spaded =)
Aircraft in GRB go to 12.7, and it does matter. Ground matches of 12.0+ exist, it just means less severe downtiers. 12.0 only matches are in essense “13.0” matches, etc. Queing with a 12.7 aircraft in GRB means you can not face people with lineups with 11.3 BR maximum, etc. It matters.
I believe actually since 12.7 BR exist, it’s also possible to enter a “13.7” match so to speak, meaning that everybody in the match has a 12.7 aircraft in their lineup. Anyways, for CAS this mainly matters because entering a higher BR bracket against Russia means a higher count of Pantsirs.
AV-8 Plus is always in my setup, until I unlocked F-15E or F/A-18 I only attack on it. But I would like to attack on A-10C, I would like to give it a second chance.
