Core difference though is that virtually all BOL carriers have 32-80 internal CMs with BOL ontop.
F-15 could have 240 internal + BOL, that is a lot of CMs and whilst yes, if they fixed BOL and limited the F15 to just 2x BOL. Something like the Gripen C would still have more CMs, but it does also have multiple notable weaknesses.
Honestly, I cant say either way whether or not the F-15s should get BOL or not. F-18C perhaps should get at least 2. But they are rather possesive about loadout options. Was a fight and a half to get BOL on the GR4
and later strike/all advanced eagles have 360 internal, and with the US advanced eagles they should be able to carry BOL on the outer pylons for a total of 8 BOL
Its a Tornado IDS, what is already considered a reasonably weak 11.3 aircraft. At 12.3. Its carried by its CM count, it has nearly nothing else going for it
i mean even then the later F-15’s with these numbers of countermeasures (current ones can only do a measly 880 with BOL) are facing a whole different level of threat
Hmm, I do see a load of GBU39s in the sky. I wonder who is the perpetrator.
Whilst yes they don’t have to ‘bomb’ they still do. And yes I agree with u otherwise.
You realise the mans talking about dogfighting and being hit by an R73.
Im not talking about iwth its ground loadout at this point.
However agai 60Cms is still sufficient , but barely.
Gotta ask, why tf does it half the CM load? im about half way down the TT for the F15E, had to start at 2.3 -.- is it even worth the bother the way folks here are going on about it?
