So far I’ve unlocked the J29f, J34, and the A32a. So far it’s been a struggle with all of them. I wanna know if there’s anything I can do to make getting through rank 6 easier, currently I’ve resorted to using the Saab 105g to research rank 6 as I simply cannot seem to ever do good with the rank 6 jets. Currently I’m 30k research away from the J32b and I heard it’s battle rating also makes it bad due to it facing all aspect missiles with no countermeasures.
The J32 is the worst of the rank. The J29F isn’t terrible especially if you master the barrels with the lower br ones. Also quite fond of the A32 cause it’s light enough to do some good deflection shots
Rank 6 is just pain with those jet being overtiered af, honestly just skip them and just grind for the mig 21bis. J29F is pretty decent once u get the hang of thing tho.
The Rank 6 in Sweden air is a really hard shift in how to best play the planes, it can be a bit jarring :P
I found that either using the SAAB 105, as you already found out, to CAS and just grind the entire rank, or learning to boom and zoom in any of the rank 6 planes is the best way to go.
The J32 och j34 variants are FAST, they aren’t ment to turn fight, stay at the edge of a battle, swoop in when you see an opportunity, fire some missiles/main guns, and fly straight out again.
Most of your opponents wont be able to chase you and you can then set up for a repeated run again :)
The J34 is in a decent spot now. However, it has a very particular playstyle and you’ll often encounter planes that you simply can’t do anything against, either because they marginally outmaneuver or outspeed you.
I’ve found the J29F to be the most consistent though.
My suggestion would be to unlock all of Rank 6 with the 105 since it’s really good and then work on rank 7 with the J29. That’s what I found to be the least painful method when grinding the tree.
