To be fair, USA players focused on this as demonstration that the Abrams is broken for years now. Can’t have it both ways. I want all tanks modeled correctly, including Abrams, but it should be low priority compared to those that seriously need it (ZTZ-99A and the rest of the Chinese top-tier MBTs, for example).

Low priority? Why? US is the most played nation in the game. The bugs affect over 7 different models of Abrams. Hardly a low priority

Leclerc’s turret armor is more than enough to stop incoming shells (especially SXII model’s) not to mention having constant 5 second reload plus mobility and LWS advantage while not having turret basket and wrong hydraulic pump location makes better or equal to Abrams

Leclerc turret armor isnt very good, strong top tier shells will pen most of the turret area so yea u have constans 5 sec reload and lws but no armor is a big disadvantge and the shell isnt the best either compare to the abrams

Tank lazes you and fires it’s dart. It’s pretty much impossible to react to that in time.
You’re getting engaged by IR/TV weaponry, you don’t get a warning at all.
It pretty much has the only use against ATGMs and Laser ordnance, but even those systems don’t need to give you a warning until it’s basically too late by just launching the missile to your general area and hard target you for the last few seconds.
So yeah, depending on what you’re getting engaged with and the skill level of the enemy, LWS at 12.0 is ranging from being niche at best to completely and utterly useless at worst.

Buffing something is tied to just increasing it’s performance, how you’re doing it doesn’t matter. In WT you could buff a tank by simply giving it a lower BR.
Bottom line, changing M1s for the better, especially in so many ways, simply isn’t possible while our max BR is 12.0.

Did some engine sound tests at two different distances.
The common complaint from US mains is that the Abrams is the loudest MBT at top-tier, this doesn’t seem to be true at all and in fact the opposite results are shown (heard) from the test:
Most notable is the T-80BVM and M1A2 comparison at a longer distance near the end of the video.

US players are always on the prowl for handouts and will use basically anything as an excuse to get them. WRs were just something that suited their narrative of Bebrams bad, pls help.

It helps on long range snipe maps and against helicopters, missile carries and drones a lot.
It increases your situtional awareness that helps you to increase your survivability.
Honestly I love this ability on my Chinese and Japanese tanks, it saved me from multiple occasions countless times.
As for last second lasing, most people doesnt even know how to do that properly, we’re talking about WT community in here Moto.

If we say the average engagement distance is 1km (probably is even less), you’d have like a second to react before the enemy gets your range with LRF and that dart reaches you.
Long range snipe maps are pretty much the best use case you have for the LWS.
Just saying that the most common things to die to basically don’t care about your LWS.
WT community itself is the saving grace of LWS.
You simply don’t have that much weaponry anymore that will trigger the LWS as well, as most transitioned to IR ordnance.
