The SPYDER AIO should be capable of using the I-Derby ER
In the game we only have the Short range version and its kinda bad
I think the Spyder AIO is in desperate need of a buff.

Apparently it’s because gaijin is unable to add dual stage missiles currently, but when they are I’m sure it’ll show up along with others,
Im just getting so tired of my SR missles not even getting past 14km its getting so boring honestly
isnt that exactly what the ASTER-30 is though? or am i missing something
because if it is…
that excuse kinda fall apart
Pantsir also uses dual stage if im not mistaken, and that one has been in game for longer
pantsir has a detachable booster, but no sustainer in the second stage. wouldnt know if that still counts
Granted, the exact terminology isnt exactly my forte, but as far as I know, dual stage does not refer to ability of missile to have booster + sustainer in a single engine; but whenever it has separate booster engine that detaches once it stops burning + main engine that engages in the second stage.
Otherwise AMRAAMs, as well as other missiles, are also dual stage since they have both booster and sustainer in a single engine.
God forgive me for using wikipedia, but

EDIT:

Pantsir should definetively count. The booster is what makes the missile dual-stage.
we’ve had Booster + Sustainee Dual mode Missiles in game since we had Missiles in game
a Dual stage where one part detaches and the other just uses Inertia, yea we’ve had that too for literally years
the Aster now is the first that keeps having engine power after detaching the Booster
what i mean is that, unlike the aster, which booster detaches before it fires the sustainer, pantsir lacks the sustainer. its just a short, very powerful burn, after which it detaches, leaving the missile unpowered but more aerodynamic
pretty sure weve had this at least since the tunguska, since theyre basically mini pantsir missiles
unless he means that, like the R-77M, the derby fires its sustainer when close to a target (if). we dont have that in game yet
Im not exactly doing university-grade research right now, but from the results Im seeing, Pantsir missile in the second stage has sustainer, ergo its powered, ergo it fits the bill.
it doesnt, all the reading ive done aside its easy to see in missiles that have been taken apart. all it has in the back is a flare with a specific wavelength of infrared for the IR system to track and a command receiver.
the rest is basically just explosives, a fuse, and some servos. this missile is made to be simple and easy to produce, with no guidance parts actually located inside the missile
Dual thrust is what we can see in some missiles, with a booster and sustainer, for example AIM-7M. 2 separate propelant types ignited one after the other, so a stronger bus shirt burning booster, and a weaker but longer burning sustainer.
Two stage is a missile that has a physical, detachable part, for example ASTER. In game they start one after the other.
Dual pulse is a missile that has one motor split into pulses. These pulses can be activated freely by the missile systems. So pulse 1 at the start, then it flies on nothing, and pulse 2, for example 3km from the target.
In game we have do not have a way to separate them as of yet, so it is either everything or nothing.
was hesitant to use dual pulse because i wasnt sure but i guess i remembered correctly
either way ill just assume the guy meant dual pulse, in case the derby has that. then again its not hard to just model it like a normal burn sustain missile until we do see such missiles
ill take your word for it then, im not exactly well versed in these things and the missile sheet i usually look at to consult stuff doesnt seem to say anything about dual stage.
Still, i find it extremely weird that pantsir is able to reach 18km max range / some 15km effective range without sustainer.
i got missile tism
while the full missile is 170mm in diameter with a weight of 72.5kg before the burn, the “dart” is only 90mm and weighs only 28kg. it gets a lot of speed and then gets reduced to something that has very little drag and weighs next to nothing
(not counting alleged extended range variants)
