How would you suggest doing this BP task in arcade?

I have problems with the big and dangerous task in arcade, where you need to destroy 3 players with a bomber rank III and up, and not die in the process.
I cant do it.
In air battles you die instantly in the bomber, and there is no way i can attack any other plane with a bomber.
Naval is a problem too, the goddamn bots snipe you out of the air.

How did you do the task?

Easiest mode would be ground rb. Air rb would also be easier.

In arcade, not sure what bombers you are using but there are a few planes that are bombers but are able to act as heavy fighters.

I would use the B7A2.

Use a relatively nimble one engined bomber with front guns.
I did the task in one mission by getting 9 kills.
Apparently, any sequence of 3 will count as one repeated success. So if you got 3, DON’T QUIT!

I did it in Air AB using the BTD. Even tho I have not used that plane a lot in the past, it was suggested to me and I gave it a try. 1/5 came easy . . then took a bit for 2/5 & 3/5. I was pleased to get 4/5 shortly after and then . . . the LAST mark took FOREVER . . . lol. Just how it is . . very situational. I even carried 100 lb bombs in hopes of catching some goobers on a runway to bomb them for the Small Gift Challenge . . . I didn’t get any, but I did have 6 - 8 attempts at it . . lol
Just takes some patience, and I think the B7A2 would also be a very good choice as well . . . wish I had gone that route myself now.
You can do it . . . just hang in there
Good Luck

To be clear I haven’t done it yet but I would do it in Ground RB and I would use the Lancaster and its 12,000lb super bomb until I get a triple kill with it.

If I didnt have access to the Lancaster and it’s super bomb I’d use a smaller more maneuverable bomber with multiple drops. For UK something like the Brigand might finally have a use as it gets a pair of 1k bombs and is small enough that it doesnt need to bomb from altitude like the Lanc, though I think the US has a better option with the B26 and its 4 1000lb bombs.

If you’re deadset on trying to do it in Arcade Air Battles then you want to find a fast and agile bomber with usable offensive guns. At rank III and up that’s a tall order but the Brigand I mentioned before has 4 20mm hispanos with 200rds each so you might be able to use it to hunt other bombers and maybe ambush an unaware fighter.

Naval Arcade. B7A2.
Took me at most 20 minutes/2 missions. 👍

B7A2, SB2C, T18B-57. Use them in RB, theyre all strong there. Dunno about arcade since B7A2 loses its UFO advantage.

I’d still try naval arcade battles. I do not know what nation you play, but using a 3.3 bomber of rank III in a 3.3 battle makes completing this task very easy (I used P1Y1 from the Japanese dive bomber line). Focus on reserve destroyers like USS Litchfield, IJN Momi and Frunze. They have very little AI weaponry and most players are not aware of you at all (since they are mostly beginners). Getting three kills in one battle is very easy this way.

Completed this task in AAB with GB Brigand B1 after around 10 battles this day. No bombs loaded, no rockets, just guns.

Planes set: four figters 3.3 / 2.7 / 2.7 / 2.7 and 3.7 Brigand, result BR are 3.3. When round starts, climb to 4500-5000 meters just under your spawn point and wait there. Dont’ rush forward: you are an easy target for most enemies. Check your bases, look for enemy bombers and let them come close, about 6-8 km. There are enough players on this BR who are not worried at the sight of an enemy bomber and continue to stupidly fly in a straight line, without even maneuvering. That’s what you need.

Keep in mind that even this twin-engine bomber is clumsy. You need to try to shoot down the enemy in one go. The second may not exist if there are fighters nearby. Having shot down an enemy plane, reload guns and climb again to wait for the next one. Watch the map and stay away from enemy fighters, do not let them closer than 7-9 km.

In one lucky round, I shot down six planes with the Brigand, taking only minor damage.
Unfortunately, only 3 were counted: perhaps not all of them were tier 3.

I’m a regular player, not pro. You can do it, it’s a shitty task, but doable.

PS. I don’t have any tanks, ships, or premium planes of tier 3+.

b7a2, t18b for air ab/rb or tu2s with the 9x 100kg bombs in ground rb to combine both tasks

Thanks a lot for all of your kind answers.

Here lies my big problem. I wpuld lobe to do that, and i can sink Frunzes a dozen with the german 3.3 Me410. The problem is, the lowest rank III german bomber sits at 4.3, so i have to wait for a full downtier to clap Frunze and Leopards, and i havent gotten it yet sadly.

That’s why u play a different nation for the task…

i did it in Air AB doing the Vulture event with Swedish T18B - jsut played my games, occasionally got 3 kills, and then it was done.

I mostly play naval but was constantly thwarted by games ending before getting a bomber in the air and chasing down enough kills.

So i switched to air arcade with a B7A2.

A 9/0 showing, pity about the defeat. 6 cannon kills, my rear gunner got a pair, plus a stuka attempting a sneaky cap. A little luck, while I was chasing the Sunderland the worst of the enemy fighers fell, and no one ever seems to expect a bomber to Boom and Zoom rather than stupidly attempting extended turn fights or simply running scared. To prove to myself it wasnt a fluke the next battle I killed 3 bases (plus a share) with 5 air kills.

Sometimes in challenges and events you must do what you must do to achieve your goal.

Thanks for all of your kind answers and support, i finally did it.

With the He 117 and the PC1400 guided bombs in naval arcade 6.3.
Let me tell you it was a pain in the butt. Getting shot down by AI vessels with 100% accuracy mode countless times. But it paid out, I even managed to destroy 6 ships in one match once.

Let me tell you this was by far the hardest task so far.
