How would YOU implement Australia in War Thunder? (With Poll)

When hell freezes over, sure. We are associated with the commonwealth, and should remain with the Crown. This is before we even consider the national consensus regarding that particular territory. Not to mention all Australian kit with one exception is in the British tree.

quick question, did australia go the leopard or M60 route after cents?

pretty sure they went for the leo 1

AU is not spread everywhere. CA, maybe. and israel was all over the place like italy

Compared to Canada we have been lucky so far that the M1A1 AIM is the only Aussie vehicle in a different tech tree. Being the exact same BR as the F-111C but in a different TT still hurts though.
It also sets a dangerous precedent for future additions, does a Mirage III.O or Tiger ARH end up in the French TT? Does a Leopard AS1 go to Germany? We just want to make sure an Australian operated vehicle all goes in one TT. I could not care less about Australian made vehicles operated by other nations going to other TTs, because that’s a different operator nation.

According to a number of Yanks, our m1a2s should go to America, so that precedent has set up entitled tools in the yank trees who think they’ve a right to any of our kit they exported to us.

AU abrams is in the US tree

that is not being spread “everywhere” that is an anomoly to a rule.

I guess I said AU & CA, the latter being spread in 3 trees. They wouldn’t hesitate to do it with AU, especially since japan and germany got their anniversary camos.

It’s still a dangerous precedent that could lead to more bad decisions, eg. Leopard AS1 to Germany, Tiger ARH to France.

As an Aussie I’d love to see an Oceanic standout tech-tree rather than it being added to Britain or anything else. Imo (Very optimistic) it could include pacific countries with the main tree being made up of Australian & New Zealand vehicles -(Obviously a fair few copies from other countries; US, UK, ect) - As these countries are more closely aligned (From my knowledge) and it helps seperate the troubles that come with making an independent Commonwealth tech-tree due to obvious issues with India & Pakistan and others; It would also allow for an African tech-tree (That being a completely separate topic). Overall definitely wouldn’t support a Commonwealth tech-tree. I think that if these minor countries are being added it should be in a well thought out grouping with other countries - (Unless they are large enough to make a full tech-tree) - that they have relations to, i.e joint military drills/games.

Israel should never have been its own Nation.

Bringing them in opened the massive Copy Paste can of worms ruining this game. Their mods should have stayed in US, French and British trees.

They don’t deserve to be split among different tech trees, nobody does. Israel is also missing HUGE amounts of content that could make the tree pretty good.

Please give me a list of Israeli designed and built from scratch vehicles as there are no planes at all.

I’m not bothered by ground forces so haven’t played a single tank mission with them, but I do know that a large majority are C/P also.

What is missing that is truly original and not just a mod carried out in Israel?

Oh I was talking about ground sorry. Yeah, their air tree is very uninspired. There was one jet but I think it was an unarmed prototype and has been denied for War Thunder.

The Lavi exists but not in wt

Pretty much anything is better than how they’re currently handling Australia and Canada (and other sub-trees for that matter).

  • Make them an offical sub-tree and keep all their vehicles in that nation.
  • Commonwealth Realm tree.
