What type of IRCCM does it have and how to defeat them?
Pl-8 doesnt have IRCCM. The Pl-5eii should have the same IRCCM as the magic 2.
The IRCCM for that is a very small FOV after launch. It is flarable at distance but within around 1.5km, you wont be able to flare it.

Employ multiple flares, ideally in salvos of two or three. Simultaneously, reduce the infrared signature by shutting down the afterburner. This will make it difficult for the PL-5E2 and PL-8 missiles to maintain a lock. These missiles are not particularly resistant to countermeasures, making them relatively easy to defeat using flares.

yeah I was just dumping flares and kept my afterburner on and also like markimash said I think It was to close to me by the time I started flaring.
That will do it. Having the afterburner on can make aim9ls ignore flares.
The closer the missile gets, the hard it is to flare. If your plane has plenty of flares, try pre-flaring.
Also, dont just dump flares. Spamming flares effectively creates a trail of flares for the missile to follow to your plane.
