How player skill with SPAA effects the CAS problem

Due to the MI-28NM F&F problem I’ve seen a sharp rise in the number of players pulling CAP. There always seems to be a few wanting to take out enemy CAS.

point 2: We all deal with people doing the same in premium tanks. Allowing more options to counter CAS isn’t a negative imo.

I play CAS a bunch, there’s a big difference between a clear sky and one filled with jets trying to hunt me down. It’s exponentially more hard to ground pound when both AA and jets are launching missiles at you.

instead of being gaijins favorite ambassador, you could start asking them for new map design.
if people asked for it, they would get it. but nobody is actually talking about map design, they just occasionally complain about it and then move on like the issue doesnt exist anymore

Then how about you start petitioning for better maps instead of for CAS nerfs?

Because it’s a complex issue. And here we have Yak-9K ignoring 30 and 37mm HE, that doesn’t fuse 20mm either (just like good part of Soviet props + Mosquito) and nobody cares. Bf 109 F4 tanks 3 37mm M-geschoss from Ostwind?
Nobody cares.
People want their new shiny tanks and jets. It’s basically a compulsive collector’s game. Gameplay itself seems to be secondary, and horrible maps, badly designed modes and lack of consistency regarding weapons is just some mild annoyance in the background. People are focused on getting new stuff, it’s all about “teh grind” and not enjoying the game as it is.

It’s always nice to see a player strafing you without any intention of surviving the engagement. Kills like these should be worth much less than they are currently.

To be honest,these are the worse type of player in general,both air and ground so…

People dont even know how to use missiles properly…all they did its use 9000 missiles on a pencil plane,got killed cause i didnt noticed one of the last 2 missiles at the end but meh,i dont care…

These are Stingers? They have no proximity fuze, at least the K has a 1 meter fuze. Roland 3/2 really struggle against supersonic jets, no surprise here.

Stingers can’t pull Gs to hit supersonic jets, a single turn is enough to defeat them.

I had 0 issue using Es in my LAV-AD. Most of my LAV-AD air kills was before I unlocked the K. Even when someone gets lucky enough to spot a stinger before it impacts, you can just launch more until they hit.

Playing CAS punishes making mistakes, but playing SPAA doesn’t.

Making me want to play some LA-VAD now lol that machine is fun. Especially since i know a trick already to down helis far away using them Hydras and shooting stinger to follow it, then relocks onto the heli.

To be fair, the game was ending and you were probably the only flying target around so they tried to get some points. I won’t even talk how you’d be dead way sooner if missiles were actually made realistically, alongside aircraft G loads being implemented correctly.

at 9.3 i never see proxy if im not maybe full uptiered and even there its a very rare sight

Bahahaa Gotta love it when CAS players do proper bomb drops and still explode when I shoot their bomb instead.

Wish I was driving the SPAA instead during that time but this worked out.

I gotta love when enemy spawns +3 SPAA to counter me while their team is starting to lose on the ground, the only thing I have to do then is to wait as when they are in a tank they can’t do much to help their team on the ground and it is just a matter of time when they will be distracted by another plane/tank.

Could be that’s all the SP they had at that point?
