How player skill with SPAA effects the CAS problem

I did watch the video and I have played on that map

i agree that many maps have many onesided spots, but CAS isnt a solution. the problem is map design and the solution is also map design.
also the example you showed isnt close to the most obscene spots, youre hulldown but not invincible and still can get flanked or rushed

Its not the only solution but its still a viable and most used option isnt it?Thats my point,you dont always fight 99999999999+ hours playtime people who will know the most absurd part of the map to kill you from the strong position you are

yea its viable but its used more to disrupt GRB rather than to fix broken positions.
it does almost neither of the things that it exists to do, and does a lot more harm on top of that

Ahh yes, “map design” will magically fix all spawncamping spots and overpowered tanks, especially when placed in the hands of Gajin.

“design” is pretty far from magic. but with your way of thinking i understand why you might confuse them

If Gaijin makes better maps,it would make harder for people to spawn camp
In most maps theres a big issue,you spawn in the an open field 50 x 50 without any cover where enemies from afar camping your spawn just have to peek slightly and shoot

Make maps better and put a dead zone around the spawns,forcing you to leave the zone to make others who still want to fight able to actually fight

This is one of the reasons people get CAS rather than a new vehicle to spawn in,cause if you spawn in a ground vehicle,boom youre dead 10 seconds later,if you get CAS,not only you get a kill but you remain alive to rearm and come before the game ends

thats why i think that rather than trying to defend CAS, people should start asking for playable maps.
the only thing we get are visual improvements which are useless

I want both. The map quality definitely needs improved. Maps that you can shoot into spawns from the middle of the map are terrible.

CAP (NOT CAS) prices should be lowered to make ALL air dangerous (top tiers only) this will ALSO help nations with sub par AA via air power
AA and A2A kills should be incentivized with more SP/points idk
Airstrike should be retooled so it doesn’t reduce CAS prices
Heli F&F should cost as much as a jet with F&F (more)

Right now if you spawn a tank without airstrike and die without scoring a kill on a map without cap points you have an even lower chance of bringing in CAP to defend your team.

Adding a SHORAD to defeat missiles at each spawn that needs rocketed, shot, or bombed before players can spawncamp with F&F will go a long way in making it feel less unfair to spawn in while CAS is in the air.

Bingo…these ‘tubes’ that we call maps, these days, is horrible. No ability to find decent cover, on most maps. No ability to do a little flanking.
Just race head on into the enemy, kill/be killed, move on to the next match

In theory that would be nice, but in reality this is Gajin we’re talking about. Not to mention, people like gangsterism just was CAS removed regardless of if map changes come, so their entire point abt map changes are worthless.

Run and gun type shii,lately tried it and works so well its genuine stupid
Went into the enemy spawn instantly at the start of the battle,killed 4 people and went back from their steps towards the center of the map and picked one by one the other guys remaining

This will only help players interested in flying planes.

Players who want to concentrate on operating tanks have…

  1. little interest for jumping into a CAP even if they earn the points
  2. may be totally ineffective in CAP because they rarely use it - thus wasting time, SP and team tickets.

Due to the MI-28NM F&F problem I’ve seen a sharp rise in the number of players pulling CAP. There always seems to be a few wanting to take out enemy CAS.

point 2: We all deal with people doing the same in premium tanks. Allowing more options to counter CAS isn’t a negative imo.

I play CAS a bunch, there’s a big difference between a clear sky and one filled with jets trying to hunt me down. It’s exponentially more hard to ground pound when both AA and jets are launching missiles at you.

instead of being gaijins favorite ambassador, you could start asking them for new map design.
if people asked for it, they would get it. but nobody is actually talking about map design, they just occasionally complain about it and then move on like the issue doesnt exist anymore
