And? 90% of my deaths in the gepard are from tanks (at 9.0 with alpha jet). You have no excuse.
Irrelevant, because kbp means kills per battle. So you on average kill 0.2 air assets per battle regardless who killed your SPAA. And 0.2 is 10x less than 2 kills per battle.
Well then, seems as if you’ve just proved M247 isn’t useful.
In your hands it certainly isn’t, just like most vehicles.
So your stats alone prove a vehicle is bad? What kind of argument is this?
He said it himself the M247 isn’t a useful asset, and taken as we all agree on a 2 kill per game average, there’s no1 to contest that.
No, I just proved you are just trolling and you don’t know how to use M247.
M247 has 0.98 air kpb on average while Gepard has 0.43 kbp on average. So on average its more than doube effective against air than Gepard.
Where did I said M247 is not useful asset?
Unless your a ADATS
Damn that’s even worse than I expected. I was going off the idea that it’s able to kill every plane that spawns in (as you guys seemed to describe it) which would mean ~2 per game, but clearly, the M247 can’t even break one.
Thank you for proving my point that the M247 is simply bad.
But its more thn double better than Gepard which you claim its better than M247. If 0.98 is bad than 0.43 is just awful.
Also there only 1 SPAA which has kbp over 2 and thats Tor-M1.
Gepard’s stats are skewed, and most people are smart enough to know this.
Gepards typically get ~3-4 ground kills a game (I know this from hundreds of 8.3 battles). Their stats are skewed by dumb Gepard players who sit in spawn whole game shooting at players outside their range. (M247 players are atleast smart enough to wait untill the aircraft is within range)
Again, most people are smart enough to realize this.
In your opinion is the M927 horribly up tired?
I’m gonna assume you meant M247, and no I don’t. The Gepard and its clones, aswell as the Chinese M247 equivalent and the AMX-30 DCA are simply undertiered.
All of them should be 9.0 with the M247.
Ok i haven’t played those vehicles besides the M247 but I agreeZ
Thats irrelevant, because if Gepard stats are skewed (as you claim but have no proof) the same are skewed stats for M247. And even skewed data show M247 is more than double better agains air assets.
Also how do you know this when you don’t own Gepard?
That’s not how it works, and most people are smart enough to know that.
Players ingame that own the Gepard, and actually play it instead of arguing about it on the forums 24/7
This implies that the skill gap is more than enough to overcome the CAS issue while playing AAs, which is an unforgivable stretch that even the most CAS-sided will tell you that you’re simply wrong.
Gaijin has been neglecting SPAAs long enough to become a type of vehicle no one even cares to learn how to play, moreso considering the rewards for doing its role. Though they generally don’t have that steep and sharp kind of learning curve, once you get the decent belt/missile, you’re done.
What i think it could be done is to redo/rework the rewards calculation considering the amount of spawnpoints/spawned ordnance the plane appeared with, so a guns only F-16 wouldn’t be that lucrative, but shutting down a Rafale would get a LOT of teammates interested, like a literal hunt.
SPAA is objectively the easiest, most braindead role in the game.
Indeed.
