Yak-9K being overpowered doesn’t mean low-tier CAS is a problem. That’s like saying all light tanks are OP cuz the 2S38 is.
12.7mm being able to destroy PZ. IV is an issue as even a clean fighter can destroy many ground units.

Maps are part of the problem, spaa share the same map with tanks and there isnt much space to move in most maps, and if you hide behind a mountain you will be useless since your radar wont be able to detect and track enemies so what the player will prefer? hide and be useless or maybe wait till the enemy jet flies above him or show himself and try to prevent his teammates killed by x8 missiles fired 20km away?

I’ve played hundreds of top tier games, so you set the goalpost at thousands, if I’d played thousands it would be tens of thousands.
GBUs and IR/Laser missiles are there, but so are long range SAMs and other anti-CAS measures that force planes to engage from further out, thus necessitating such ordinance.
At the end of the day it doesnt change the fact that you’re salty you died to a plane, and your cries for a tank only mode will continue to go unanswered.
