How player skill with SPAA effects the CAS problem

Oh I know that’s what I already do.

For my 3.3 line up the Hellcat is followed by a Firefly.

im astounded by the number of players on this forum who are teaching me about top tier tactics while they dont play top tier themselves

i cant prove nor disprove the trend is false.
its a made up point and doesnt affect the discussion

I’ve played top tier plenty

there is a website called statshark where you can check the profile of any player, and it shows that you have not played top tier plenty.
i dont want to insult statistics but you shouldnt be talking about top tier balance or tactics

Plenty is subjective, I’ve played it plenty long enough to decide it isn’t as fun as other tiers.

Also that site has some issues with accuracy, it says I’m chat banned when I’m not.

but not enough to experience CAS i assume?

the vehicle stats are accurate

I am the CAS. See what it says about my kills with the G-LYNX

If it can’t get one thing accurate then I’m not inclined to assume it gets everything accurate.

There is CAS in basically every game. If someone has over 100 games at ranks 7 and 8 I assume they’ll have experienced it plenty? And even then CAS is found from 1.0 untill 14.0. Most tips will be the same across BR’s:

  • Don’t stay in one position after making a kill.
  • When on the move make sure you don’t stand out too much from the terrain, use trees and other obstacles.
  • Break line-of-sight often with the common air- and groundspawns for aircraft
  • etc.

but the G-LYNX is below 10 BR and its a helicopter

you can check that the numbers are accurate

100 games is very little. i dont know my exact game count at high tier, but its over 1,000.
also, CAS is uncomparable at 1.0 vs 14.0, and barely any of these “tips and tricks” apply at top tier.
unless youre going to hide in a corner the entire game, your CAS avoidance tactics arent gonna help you most of the time.

on some maps, its even impossible to do any of these things, so youre at the mercy of CAS, which is guaranteed to take you out when it matters most.

its still an air vehicle and its 10.7

its not close to 14.0 jets with a volley of fire-and-forget missiles.
speed, range, firepower, agility is entirely different.
it cant give anyone an idea of true problematic CAS

Last I checked tanks only go up to 12.0 anyway so they shouldnt see 14.0 planes.

eurofighter and su-30s are 13.0, theyre practically the same thing as 14.0

The depicted PGZ09 is about as skilled as a mig 15 that can’t avoid gepard rounds at 4 miles

most CAS issues are at top tier. this original thread is literally about top tier.
so i dont know if youre high but you should just close the forum for a day and refrain spamming complete nonsense

Yes and No. Yes, OP is using top tier as an example for better use of P.R.D.F. and most CAS issues are yet to be solved for top tier. (More SAMs are arriving soon) But P.R.D.F. isn’t just for top tier, it includes all Br. Low tier to mid would be P.D.F. without the Radar. The thread’s main purpose is “How player skill with SPAA effects the CAS problem”.

The maps are not big enough and second it depend the terrain because if you have desert or urban maps then you must get different location to hit CAS. You are forced limited movement because op team can sniper you accros the map sometimes.

the original post is clearly about higher tier SPAA (with radar), but im not blocking people from talking about low tier balancing here, im just responding to pangolins dumb comment

i only say anything when people broadly say “CAS isnt a problem” when they mean at low tiers

Low tier CAS is very much a problem.

Corsairs, Yaks, Hellcats alone make trying to play WW2 BRs in GRB a nightmare.
