And how strong this AI should be?? Like airfield AAs? If so, no plane or helicopter can survive… If not make them strong enough, CAS would be able to do whatever pilot wants. In any case, i believe it’s bad idea.
And what makes CAS not bomb players and attack them?? Again if AI AAs will be weak CAS is free to do whatever they want, why bother with bots when there’s guy who outplayed/flanked and killed me. Early AAs have very limited range, so if we place them more than 1 max 2 km away of actual ground battlefield, they will be completely useless and what’s the point of having them.
In other case, people can spawn artillery and just destroy AAs without CAS. Anyway, still not big help against CAS.
So basically, you creating “rear line” behind tank spawn right? So if we tie up the destruction of AAs with objectives, it means more and more CAS because without it game can’t be win. Good job, you just make CAS even bigger cancer.
I agree about teamwork, but about objectives: of course CAS can contribute, destroying someone who captures isn’t contributing anything??
Agreed, planes and helicopters are cancer for current ground battles. Some likes it, some not so it’s fully justified to add TO mode.

Want play fair/skillbased GB? _ play TO.
CAS destroys literally any vehicle on battlefield (if pilot isn’t noob) with little opposition from ground, any real threat is enemy air. That’s why it costs that much.
AAs is useless/have huge disadvantages against ground units, mostly only can engage with air.
(Don’t start talking about Gerard and others like that, there’s only few AAs which can destroy tanks easily and mostly it’s because Gaijin can’t or don’t want to create normal damage/penetration mechanics. When 35mm aphe with 30g TNT has more damage than 100mm gun with 108g TNT, it’s not AAs problem, it’s broken game mechanics.)
And?? he choose to trade 600sp to enemy 160sp, not because 160 or 70sp vehicle is better. People who doing it are one death leavers who got enough sp for 100% revenge.

Don’t know about everyone, but i don’t hate it. One of the easiest thing to destroy, literally free silver and RP for enemies. Pretty sure there are people who enjoy it.
Really?? DF105 strong tank?? 12.7 browning can easily destroy it (I’m not talking about main guns). According to you: only sure-fire way to destroy DF105 is CAS. For me, sounds like big, no huge skill issue.

Trading 70sp to 600 doesn’t means 70sp vehicle is stronger, as i said 600sp (CAS) choose to suicide, it doesn’t means 70sp AA is tronger. If I meet BT5 with my Leo2A7 and J-out doesn’t means BT is stronger, it means I’m dumb as brick.
Look, we have AAs which is useless (in most cases) against everything except planes and we have planes what can destroy everything: tanks, AAs, artillery, heavy tanks, tank destroyers, others planes… Only thing what can fight back is AAs and other planes, everything else is defenceless.
So yeah, 70sp to fight 1 class of vehicles, 600sp to fight everyone else… seems fair for me.
Most AAs can kill tanks very well. All AAs can cap points. Planes can only get 2-3 ground kills realistically with the exception of Russian CAS like the Yak-9K.
What I have said to the guy who wanted to jump into the same server as me in order to bomb me is that what I like to do to a player who bombed me, not that everyone should do it.
