aim120s are weird in BVR rn, in TWS mode they keep going after r77’s instead of planes, it doesnt do that when its in PD or bulldog mode tho

I also remember the r73 being removed because USA mains whined, then over the course of 6 months they nerfed the MiG-29 about 5 times and OH, buffed the F-16 about 5 times! Very usa struggles moment tbh

It’s funny because the meta it created (lawnmowing) actively harmed whatever used it, and that allowed something like the gripen to dominate.
The effects of the r27er are still felt to this day, people are still afraid to properly bvr at high alts, instead preferring to spend time talking to grass.
The current meta has little to nothing to do with the R27ER
When it’s the other way around, it’s ‘unfun’ and ‘not balanced’, as if they ever cared about balance in the first place.
