I know most games only make you suffer for a few matches, but I’ve been grinding Japan and it feels like i angered the snail. I was wondering how long the sbmm in this game takes to start giving me teams that help. Thanks.
There are no skill-based matchmaking in War Thunder.

yeah if Gajin used SBMM it be the death of the game and thank god they never do that thats what tournys are for

Yeah, because matchmaking is sooo much better with 80% of the matches being completely one-sided with 20% only having us engage in proper tactics, teamwork, communication and fighting till the end.
to be fair, I’d love SBMM in tournaments lol, fighting bad teams ruins your coefficient.

If you chech your contemporary nations, you’ll see that there are now two 11.7 premiums on most nations; a normal one and an ai-generated reskin.
These people infest the BR range with their combined 3 braincells, rush in, die within 3 seconds without getting a kill and then leave. Thus you are in a 6 vs 14 and bound to loose.
Throw in the meme that is the BMPT and you’re set to loose. Past 10.7 I (with like 4k hours) recomment to a) only play russia or b) not play at all and stay below or at 10.3.

don’t get high hope of getting good teammate when using Japan TT
Japan mostly treated as filler when matchmaking. 8/10 you will be facing the “meta” that currently exist.
(caveat, this is mostly top tier stuff, Rank VIII)

No I’m working on spading my 9.7 line. RCV, ICV, Type 16, stingray. No point in premium spamming when i get those sweet rewards for spading.
