Could you please explain since when Active radar missiles started recognizing targets against the ground? If they can detect a target rolling on the runway, why then does the game still include the “antipode” effect? And why, in the same battle, did my missile under the same conditions fail to hit a huge F-111 bomber? This casino is getting tiresome; the game has turned into some kind of lottery where the prize is either you kill or you get killed.
The target was on the runway. In War Thunder if you’re flying 60 meters from the ground, missiles will explode in the air.

Its hard to tell what is going on with the Russian language. But its possible the MICA was affected by multipathing and so fell short, but the PL-12 looked to me like it was either being supported by the launch radar via DL or was running purely on IOG.
Fox-3s are complicated and rather fiddly and 9/10 times, where multipathing is involved. Luck plays as much as a role as skill. Part of the reason why I want MP removed/made historically accurate
