How is F-4C sitting at 10.0 while something straight up better (MiG-21S (R-13-300)) sitting at 9.7?
Monthly stats for July 2026:
Mig-21S (R-13-300) got the same speed, same missile performance, but has way better flight performance than the F-4C and somehow sits at lower BR than the dog water F-4C. Make it make sense
F-4C gameplay is just facing 11.0 and get r* to death, face 10.0 and still get r* to death, or face 9.0 and be hella mid
When the F-4C was 9.7, it was already mid.
I always remembered F-4C’s like free RP pinatas for most other jets
that mig 21 is one of the most obscene examples of premium bias in the game. really should be 10.0 or 10.3, it outclasses everything extremely until then

It doesn’t really belong at 10.0+ with the current BR compression. Putting it at 10.0 with no countermeasures and only 10G missiles is pushing it imho. (I don’t have it, just don’t feel like it would be fair for it)

same, F-4C is food to me no matter what plane I fly when I come across it, it’s such a pathetic BR placement. When I see F-4C I just do not see it as a threat at all and I even feel bad shooting it down cuz I know the guy flying it is not having a good time, Gaijin need to pull their head out of their ass
I think a lot of BR compression issue (especially in air) can just be solved if the BR bracket is made so planes only face other planes that are 0.7 BR higher/lower than itself, instead of being 1 full BR like it is currently

I dont know about KD, It might be because the F-4C is played much more than the MiG-21S; it’s at the perfect BR above that it struggles, and below that it dominates.
Just bring back F-4C to 9.7

I don’t know what Gaijin’s problem is with not fixing the compression; man, it’s literally just a matter of doing it it’s something as easy and mindless as breathing but for some reason, it’s hard for them. It’s simply a matter of decompressing the spread and adjusting the BRs.
We have to consider that, following the introduction of the B-52H, the MiG-21S performed very well.

R-3R does not have guidance delay (matters a lot) and is slightly faster than AIM-7D
also carrying more missile just doesn’t matter when its aim9b/e and aim7d lmao, I’d pick mig21S(r-13-300) over the shitty F-4C any day cuz the flight model is just straight up better while having effectively the exact same speed and missile performance (I would even say its better cuz of R-3R)
AIM-7Ds are at least 50% better than R-3Rs [and that’s not accounting for range increase].
Mig-21S has a lower IAS top speed while having worse missiles.
All Mig-21S can do is accelerate slightly faster, and maybe dogfighting but I haven’t done one of those in air RB missile jets in some time.
