How does Gaijin decide which eurofighter gets a certain modifcation?

Someone made a bug report that the German Eurofighter should have the AMK (Aerodynamic Modification Kit) which basically just makes it a lot more manoeuvrable and it got accepted but the bug report moderators said they will accept it for all 3 EASA Eurofighters eventhough its just germany that has this modification they said it will go to all 3 because its a “consortium project” but why did the Germany Eurofighter not get the same EASA radar as the British and Italian ones if its a “consortium project” and they should all get the same modifications according to the bug report mods?

they told me to make use correct tags so I am

All 3 typhoons did get AESA though. They just modeled the real world differences in performance. Blame Germany for going with the Mk1

AMK would be a major upgrade and would be stupid to only be added for one nation. It would be akin to only giving one nation AESA.

AMK is funded by the consortium the radars are funded by Germany/spain and Italy/uk respectively.
The better question is why every AH64E gets LDIRCM despite neither testing/ordering/funding/fielding them and the German EFT is stuck with the mk1

And use the already existing thread.

It is funded buy Germany and Airbus. Airbus are also the ones building it. It will be purchasable by other nations in the Eurofighter program by 2028 but currently only Germany has it and is funding it.

Flying away from a target while still locking them up is a big upgrade.

It’s 10° difference. It will barely be noticeable difference.

I am talking specfically about only Germany getting the AMK. I couldn’t find a thread about that specfically.

as previously rigorously discussed
to some, 120 degrees HOBS lock is a barely noticeable difference
to some, AMK is a barely noticeable difference

take your pick of poison

mostly only by German mains trying to downplay it to make it seem like a balanced addition.

you could also say that about the 120 degree HOBS capability being downplayed by the others

this tues irl all nations apache have dircm? or this no need to be realistic…

Isn’t it “only” 100 degrees gimbal for the British and Italian EFTs?

100 vs 90 degrees is a super small difference when 4/10 don’t even have a gimbal AESA radar in game.

Irl? no for LDIRCM afaik
in game? yes, at least on the dev.

120? It’s 100.

British and Italian typhoons get an extra 10° of angle when sat in a notch. But the German typhoon can still sit in a 90° notch and guide with a very strong AESA radar

ye prolly. i was confusing the limit with the new russian bias

Nope IRL only the US has LDIRCM but Gaijin thought balance demands that everyone gets it with JAGMs no matter if there is any real life reason to add those. Rules for thee but not for me

It still allows you to fly away from a target while guiding in missiles
