Mirror matches by definition harm the people who can’t stand mirror matches. Bad take. Also affects people who aren’t playing USA greatly.
Zero people want to wait 30 minutes in queue instead of having a mirror match (or even worse, grind for 3 months instead). Which are the ONLY logically possible alternatives here. So no, they don’t.
Also affects people who aren’t playing USA greatly.
Yes. Affected POSITIVELY. Since USA mains not all quitting (and not 100% of the time being in mirror matches) means your queue times are LOWER as a non-USA main, thanks to Gaijin’s decision.
At the end of the day idc how it’s done but mirror matches have to be gotten rid of eventually. They are aids.
If you think grinding for months is reasonable as an alternative to mirror matches, as you just implied, then what’s the issue? You already have a solution to your problem: Start over completely with a new nation. What are you waiting for?
IDK why he’s afraid of reason & rationality TBH.
I have over half the nations in game grinded to rank 7+ in air. I have quite literally done that and diversified.
then what’s the issue?
Literally just click Germany at the bottom of your screen, for example, then click a lineup, and “To Battle”
and what does this accomplish?
No mirror matches (never heard anyone talk about a Germany mirror match at this BR at least). Your goal
Tbh, I would like to see USA vs UK in Hokkaido and USA vs USSR in Korea again but, that’s never happen anymore :(
The mirror match is a mirror match regardless of whether im playing the nation or not.
? You aren’t facing your own nation if you’re not one of the mirrors, so your experience is not different than a non mirror match.
Except it very much is…
You forgot the second half of your sentence. “, because ___”
Because it is the most popular nation for various reasons. Others have explained why the matchmaker makes mixed battles when there’s lots of one nation being played.
With you it’s an endless loop of me explaining then you guessing wrong then me having to re-explain
If only there was this thing called “Being clear in the first place” that didn’t necessitate guessing. You’re playing Germany, facing the US, what is the importance or relevance to you of whether the US is also on your team or not? This is not complicated and you already should have said it on your own in the first place without needing to be prompted, because it was pretty obviously neded details.
Enemy diversity?
The diversity of your enemies is not affected by whether the USA is also on YOUR team or not. The enemy nations were the same in both cases. Germany was always going to have the same option of facing USA as an enemy, with or without USA mirror matches existing.
mfw he doesn’t understand that if the USA didnt mirror match one team has no USA players and therefore is the only way to not face them…
you’re wasting my time and I already think this forum is a waste of time usually, definitely not continuing this
