How can I measure the distance in large air battles?

Of course, without memorizing grid sizes of every air map in this game. For unknown reasons, I can’t see map grid lengths in ARB matches. I also can’t target some ground targets beyond some range.

What I am trying to do is lob AGMs from max range with my A10A, but I am trying to measure the distance between my plane and really far away ground target.

Doesn’t the Warthog’s HUD also show distance to the target the Mav’s locked to?

I’m pretty sure it used to…

In lock vision, gray tinted, I lock. Then how can I switch to hud? in which view is it?

Normal 3D cockpit view.

But with experience you will know grid size of maps, also how “big” a target looks in the seeker view tells you how far out you are.

It is a shame that they don’t display grid sizes as in ground battles.
