It looks like you replied to the wrong person.
You instantly assume it because of colonialism? While South Africa has bought and used military hardware from the United Kingdom and signed an mutual defense agreement with the UK. So they have established an military connection.
Did you read my comment? Hungary bought and used Italian hardware, they also licensed produced the Re 200 while also developing their own fighter based on the Re 200. Both of them also were in a alliance and are now in a different alliance (NATO), so Hungary and Italy have an military connection.
In regards of the Hunter F, i have mentioned that and include the T-90S as an Gaijin bad decisioning.
How is that related colonialism? South Africa bought and used British vehicles with their own money, it would obviously make sense for them to be there.
Also what vehicles did Korea use from Japan because you tell me this without citing anything.
They Japanese hardware for their military meaning they got an military connection that’s why these 3 nation make more sense then South Korea.
And again colonialism is not an thing in-game, if you want you ask Gaijin privately or in a QnA. I am 100% sure they will tell you that they don’t implement things that way. As colonialism is an awful way of implementing things and goes against their own policy (no politics).
And are we seing any WW2 aircraft in Hungary sub-tree? And btw, Hungary used more German stuff or stuff they got from Czechs after their annexation.
So Korea used Japanese aircraft and tanks.
Their WW2 vehicles.
Which hardware? Japan sells nothing to them, they havent got joint projects. Only military connection between them - Japan is currently building ships for Indonesia.
They have technical relevance with the UK. But what about Japan?
Here are the rebuttals that you conveniently forgot.
As you willfully ignore the technical connection, the only connection that remains is colonialism—the political one. Would you like to continue this topic based on politics?
(LMAO)
At this point, your intent is revealed. These countries don’t have the vehicles that arouse your greed, but that’s not the case in Korea. Keep your arguments consistent without double standards.
‘Alternative Fact’ #1
If Korea had not been a colony, there would have been no reason for Japan’s ‘朝鮮總督府’ to exist.
‘Alternative Fact’ #2
Oh, you probably don’t mean the trucks that the U.S. confiscated from Japan and donated to Korea to be used in the 1950s, right?
And they added Vehicle with zero connection. Great.
Bruh, i literally agreed that Thai can go to Japan, cause it was Japan ally during ww2, used its vehicles and they still has good relationships now.
And yeah, i answered with double standards, because bringing these two countries is double standards (because, again, zero connection besides historical ones)
They used the excuse that India was a member of Commonwealth. (Of course, this is absolutely not a reason that can justify it.) However, there is not even such a weak basis for plundering Korea.
More than anything, there’s no reason to do something stupid again.
Great. You just have to realize that Korea is also like those two countries.
Why even use Hungary in your argument when you clearly barely know anything about them even through online research you can see that they also received ground vehicles from Italy.
In regards to Germany and Czech. Hungary could have gone to Germany if they needed them and Czechia isn’t in-game.
So by your logic every country Japan has been in should be part of Japan simply because they armed themselves with captured weapons. Let’s not even mentioned Germany, US, USSR or the UK which has used many captured vehicles.
Also South Korea only used the Ki-9 biplane US confiscated all heavy weaponry from South Korea. However what vehicle Japan gifted or sold to South Korea?
Japan exported/donated arms to them, it doesn’t matter if it sea, ground or air it’s still an military connection.
i mean if Indonesian vehicle get into Japan tree i wish one of them will be the starstreak.
I AM that desperate for AA even if starstreak is that bad right now.
There are video games with Korea & Japan in friendly terms.
Most people understand fiction is separate from reality.
Taiwan and China are already political as it stands.
While Korean and Japanese relations are improving thankfully due to 2 certain neighbors both hate even more.
It does not mean SK Subtree will be added. Simple as it stands its too much of a political hell to attempt. In the end, it just depends on Gaijin.
Yeah, but in the absence of a full TT for SK, it would be the best place to put SK vehicles short term and wr have seen SK export vehicles come to other nations. Like the Vidar, so its certainly something i think they may be considering
Short term I can understand. Won’t likely happen though.
Yeah, but I dont think whether they add it or not though is at all influenced by geopolitics. (Just need to look at India and South Africa in Britain or Taiwan in China to see that. Kinda expecting to see Ukrainian stuff in the Soviet tree at some point)
But more whether or not Japan needs anything specific from SK. Truthfully, I dont know if that is the case or not, but I certainly know I dont think i’ve ever heard once someone complain about Japan having “OP stuff”. And something like the K2 might give them some serious firepower.
Typically 1 single vehicle are fine but when it comes to full-on lines or an entire tech tree that’s when Geopolitics gets involved.
Yes, that’s what I want to do, due to the relationship between these 2 nations, it’s the best way to solve.
Yes, Indonesia uses the VAMTAC ST5 which can fit at 10.3/10.7 and it also can be used against light armored vehicles. Indonesia also purchased the Hisar Air Defence System but unfortunately these are the O and U models instead of A model which could have been perfect at 10.7+.
Thailand also uses the Star streak on their own domestic produced armored vehicle and got the R600 8x8 APC with AA capabilities, there’s also the HSVD/ADAMS which was proposed for Thailand but it’s a bit of a stretch (similar to the F-16AJ).
