Yes, I used to set head movement on 8-position stick hat under my thumb. And one additional button to reset view to default. Before getting tracker.

If I remember correctly, you will need to set two VIEW IN BATTLE axis (X and Y) to your HOTAS buttons (or hat):
Set to relative control and dont forget set a button to reset axis on Y and same button on X:
So, turning head right will be INCREASE VALUE on X axis, and decrease will be turning to the left. Same with Y axis.

I have tobii (expensive, sadly) but that’s the real game changer.
You need to track your eyes/head otherwise you are a simple pray.
