F-15E’s energy retention at speed with ~7 minutes of reheat fuel: 11.2 degrees per second before it starts LOSING energy.
Same 11.2 degrees per second just over 7 minutes for F-15JM:
At one speed they’re the same, and any slower than that F-15C goes ahead because the overall energy retention is in F-15C’s favor at all speeds.

Actually I believe the “Early” is a reference to the use of TF30-P-412s more so than weapons- Gaijin just doesn’t give weapons when they don’t want, like on the MiG-29s, they typically don’t try to explain it.
Just because a plane is from 1987 doesn’t mean it wouldn’t outpass aircraft of its time.
I think it’s a good thing that the f18 came a little bit late, the su33 came in this version because it can’t carry fox3, and as a modern plane it might have a bunch of bugs that affect play. Made him less than he wanted to be. The f18 will probably come out with the j15 because they can both carry fox3
My guess why we are getting the su-33 but not sth like the f-18a is cause the su-33 is a premium and thise circumvents gajins implementation rules of nation x already got sth last update

Did you just not read what I typed? The matter at play and the opinion I belive the MAJORITY of people bothered by this F-18 thing, is the fact it’s still not here.
Read this 10 times over: The problem IS NOT “USA didn’t get new jet, russian bias”, the problem is at this point the F-18 is LATE and probably obsolete and barely playable. This many F-15s, specially F-15E this year was a mistake. Both the Hornet and Su-33 should’ve been added earlier this year.
I mean, that’s no surprise to anyone in this community. Despite having like 100k players daily, the second the community calls for BR decompression, Gaijin still throws stuff like “Oh we don’t want you to have long queue times” at us or whatever they come up with, expecting us to believe them. There are tons of other issues, such as how the current game modes are barely supporting the technology in-game, many vehicles still nowhere to be seen… but those are discussions for another post.
Are you trying to bait or what, German MiG-29s and MiG-23MLA were also part of the problem. Give me a reason why a bunch of nations got the F-16 along with the USA while USSR got their MiG-29 alone, with Germany and Italy, at the time prob the worst nation by fair to play air battles, only getting theirs later on. You can make a case for Italy and the Hungarian sub tree, but Germany? F-4F ICE?
What you do here doesn’t help at all. Happened to other countries before, happened to the USA just now, and IT WILL HAPPEN LATER ON AGAIN. Plus, the difference here is that we’re talking about THE F/A-18 Hornet, not yet another MiG-29, or yet another MiG-23. Why don’t you just engage in these sort of talks to prevent this from happening again to other countries?
Read the first post again, and this too: Slinging F-15s around this year was a mistake. Both the Su-33 and F/A-18 should’ve been added months ago. And THAT is my point.

Oh and by the way I’m mostly referring to the C variant, the A version without fox 3s could’ve been added even earlier. Once again, the main point is: The F-18 is damn late and at the rate this game is adding things, it’ll be DOA and no one will care when it’s finally here because it’ll already be obsolete and trash to play with. Trailer hype and when people join dev server it’ll be clear that absolutely everything in top tier is faster than it and it gets eaten alive by F-15E’s BVR and in dogfights against Rafales and EFs.

If you’re gonna bring something up and say the answer doesn’t make sense and I’m addressing the wrong person, don’t bring it up. Direct the issues you had with the past German additions elsewhere too. It’s an issue that has affected many different nations in-game and will affect more.
So because “it doesn’t work” you go around saying stuff like “Stop crying”, “Grow up”, “You Americans”? Seems like you’re the one who needs to grow up, you act like an angry teenager. I care more about the vehicles than about the nation, matter of fact I have top tier in half the nations in the game, I play it all, and I’m not even American. I was bothered when the Swedish Gripen was intially supposed to be inferior to the South African one. I was bothered with Germany getting their MiGs late, bothered there’s still not MiG-25, Su-33 came late and as a squadron vehicle (lmao), I’m bothered the US will get THE HORNET way too late as well. I play for the vehicles, not to lick the nation’s boots. I am aware “tHe WoRlD iS uNfAiR”, but we’re talking dealing with a video game lmao, what is this philosophical bs? This unfairness you mentioned affect only SOME game aspects, which can be easily balanced and corrected most of the time. But sometimes they can’t, such as the impossibility of adding an Eurofighter back when Fox 3s were first introduced, hence the pathetic F-4F ICE being Germany’s Fox 3 fighter for the update. All this does NOT apply to something like the F-18A and C, Su-33 as well. You seem to ignore the fact I repeatedly said the Su-33 should’ve also been added MONTHS ago. F-4F ICE was added late as well, should’ve been added earlier on, even without Fox 3s.

Have you ever heard of players who used to seal club early Super Sonic Jets or superior Sub-Sonic Jets in an F-86? Ex: F-4 Phantoms, T-2’s, MIG-17’s, MIG-19’s, MIG-21’s. I fought them all in an F-86. During the Early years.
What you want is an echo chamber however clearly everyone doesn’t seem to agree. Sorry bud make a proper thread next time, not an echo chamber. Cause I don’t agree with anything you have said.
So I stand by what I said, just because a plane is from 1984 does not mean it will not be superior to other aircraft of its time. The F-15 only existed because we were building a fighter jet that could supersede the MIG-25 Foxbat based on very little info however moment we captured a MIG-25 we realized it was a flying piece of crap, excuse my French or Dutch.
One more thing the F-18 isn’t in the game. Even then it was designed to supersede the F-16(its competitor and replace many aircraft that came before). Can’t say that for the F-15 as she still has a 105.5 to 0.
It also carries a whopping 10 AMRAAMs plus 2 AIM-9s. 4 extra missiles is well worth slightly lower flight performance.
