Quick question is this the rudder that ppl talk about
No, it’s the small tabs that pop up on either wing when u apply rudder. You’ll notice one sticks up partially all the time
That’s the drag rudders i know about these but what is that thing in the pic then bc it’s always there some times it appears on friendly 229 too but dissappear again when i get close to them
That would be becauses it never carried nor was equipped to carry bombs.
One of the early UNMADE concepts was for the 1000x1000x1000 bomber… , and a prototype H.IX was made…but it was not the Ho-229 V3 we have, which instead got 2 x 30mm cannon instead as a day fighter.
And? They yak 141 never used some armament nor was equipped with some of the avionic systems but still got them all when it got in game, Horten is no exception bombs where planed for the 229 V3 and it should get them
This problem will occur when teammate ho229 is within 400m to 600m of your field of vision.
Maybe because you’re in video mode, I don’t usually see this problem in myself during the game, but I know my teammates will be able to see it at the distance I mentioned above.
While I can understand gaijin’s business sense, what happened to ho229 was simply unacceptable.
At its current performance, the ho229 would be a nightmare to carry a bomb again.
Not only friendly but even me it appears for a split second then disappear it happened more than once specially when i spawn a 229 in GRB i was barley able to catch it in this pic bc even in reply it appears for less than a second then disappear
source? And to which a/c does it refer?
ETA: I have found a source that mentions the possibility of 2 x 500kg for the v6 prototype linked from the [Horten229.org website “Out in the Open”], but notes that there was not room for all the weapons mentioned:

(sorry for the funny links - that’s just how they worked out!)

Bwo, someone filed an undocumented bug report and the devs nerfed Ki-43-III Otsu’s engine.
As for OP’s concerns: skill issue
-
They nerfed all the Japanese engines about a year ago.

Not a skill issue, a dev issue. Don’t eat your own…
That nerf was accurate, the Ki-43-III never mounted the Ha-112 1500hp engine. That was a proposed model as the Ki-43-IV, which AFAIK was never built.
The real problem with that plane is that they didn’t move it down after taking 400hp away.
I’m writing skill issue because I’m doing perfectly fine with the Horten, whether against props or sabres/migs. Yes, in terms of engine performance the Horten is at a big disadvantage, but you still have other performance metrics to back you up, letting you fight back.
The nerf may have been accurate, but the bug report was still not backed up with any documentation, as far as I can remember. It was backed up with “trust me bro, there’s a pattern in the names”
It was backed up with “trust me bro, there’s a pattern in the names”
No, that’s precisely how the IJAAF designation scheme was. An engine change is a very big change and has to be indicated with a new major variant (as in, Ki-43-IV) while subvariants (Ko, Otsu, Hei, Tei) are for more minor changes like armament.

Defending two of the most handholding, meta and arguably a little OP 8.0 aircraft is crazy.
