That’s the drag rudders i know about these but what is that thing in the pic then bc it’s always there some times it appears on friendly 229 too but dissappear again when i get close to them
That would be becauses it never carried nor was equipped to carry bombs.
One of the early UNMADE concepts was for the 1000x1000x1000 bomber… , and a prototype H.IX was made…but it was not the Ho-229 V3 we have, which instead got 2 x 30mm cannon instead as a day fighter.
And? They yak 141 never used some armament nor was equipped with some of the avionic systems but still got them all when it got in game, Horten is no exception bombs where planed for the 229 V3 and it should get them
This problem will occur when teammate ho229 is within 400m to 600m of your field of vision.
Maybe because you’re in video mode, I don’t usually see this problem in myself during the game, but I know my teammates will be able to see it at the distance I mentioned above.
While I can understand gaijin’s business sense, what happened to ho229 was simply unacceptable.
At its current performance, the ho229 would be a nightmare to carry a bomb again.
Not only friendly but even me it appears for a split second then disappear it happened more than once specially when i spawn a 229 in GRB i was barley able to catch it in this pic bc even in reply it appears for less than a second then disappear
I’m writing skill issue because I’m doing perfectly fine with the Horten, whether against props or sabres/migs. Yes, in terms of engine performance the Horten is at a big disadvantage, but you still have other performance metrics to back you up, letting you fight back.
The nerf may have been accurate, but the bug report was still not backed up with any documentation, as far as I can remember. It was backed up with “trust me bro, there’s a pattern in the names”
No, that’s precisely how the IJAAF designation scheme was. An engine change is a very big change and has to be indicated with a new major variant (as in, Ki-43-IV) while subvariants (Ko, Otsu, Hei, Tei) are for more minor changes like armament.
All I’m asking is to not interpolate facts from other facts. You’re acting like there were never any exceptions in history, or changes to standards over time. Look at the changes in German naming conventions for aircraft.
Just give a source indicating which engine the plane had, that is all. But nobody has anything concrete, just an untrustworthy secondary source, and people on the internet trusting their pattern recognition abilities too much.
Not defending the 8.0s, I’m saying that people can do better in the Horten.
