Gaijin artificially nerfed it back in 2017 and then neglected it like every other part of the game, completely ruined the belt by filling the HVAP belt with trash, massive gun dispersion and completely annihilated the flight model.
sounds like you’re a well adjusted person with no problems~!
Still waiting for its bombs:
But you’re smart, do you want a medal?
All I have to say, honestly, is this:
Spoiler
Talked about the nerfs that happened a while back it’s sad that this plane got butchered bc of the balancing reasons that happened years ago
Ho-229 is equipped with MK103. They easily reach 1,5km. But if I remember right, their range used to be laughably short. And probably nothing has been changed.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha, brother, although I only play ho229, but and ho229 appears in the game against fighters, I know they are now in the game situation. R2Y2 without high altitude starting point, there is no advantage, I still see very few drivers driving it, very few, your picture can be said to be a very intuitive reflection of its situation.
At least the high altitude R2Y2 will still put pressure on the enemy.
With the current thrust of the ho229, his speed with the bomb will be reduced to 500
But sadly, the existing problems have not been addressed and solved, the hope of adding bombs is a distant dream, and even if added, it will only make the performance worse, because a large part of the ho229’s nerf is due to its too powerful ground attack.
And if I remember correctly, the ho229 was originally designated as an attack aircraft and later modified to be a fighter aircraft.
Gaijin regularly fiddles with flight models and doesnt disclose that they have made those changes. So I for one can tell you from personal experience that YES they do mess with flight models for no good reason and without notice.
The raising and lowering of BR’s is equally absurd in many instances. I’m not surprised that players are outraged / upset when a plane they like gets broken or over tiered into obsolescence.
for what its worth, the rudder mechanism for the ho 229 is still broken pulling to one side… I reported this years ago to technical moderators along with other finding from other aircraft and they simply dont respond.
Good luck getting a response from them.
No, it’s the small tabs that pop up on either wing when u apply rudder. You’ll notice one sticks up partially all the time
That’s the drag rudders i know about these but what is that thing in the pic then bc it’s always there some times it appears on friendly 229 too but dissappear again when i get close to them
That would be becauses it never carried nor was equipped to carry bombs.
One of the early UNMADE concepts was for the 1000x1000x1000 bomber… , and a prototype H.IX was made…but it was not the Ho-229 V3 we have, which instead got 2 x 30mm cannon instead as a day fighter.
And? They yak 141 never used some armament nor was equipped with some of the avionic systems but still got them all when it got in game, Horten is no exception bombs where planed for the 229 V3 and it should get them
This problem will occur when teammate ho229 is within 400m to 600m of your field of vision.
Maybe because you’re in video mode, I don’t usually see this problem in myself during the game, but I know my teammates will be able to see it at the distance I mentioned above.
While I can understand gaijin’s business sense, what happened to ho229 was simply unacceptable.
At its current performance, the ho229 would be a nightmare to carry a bomb again.
Not only friendly but even me it appears for a split second then disappear it happened more than once specially when i spawn a 229 in GRB i was barley able to catch it in this pic bc even in reply it appears for less than a second then disappear
source? And to which a/c does it refer?
ETA: I have found a source that mentions the possibility of 2 x 500kg for the v6 prototype linked from the [Horten229.org website “Out in the Open”], but notes that there was not room for all the weapons mentioned:

(sorry for the funny links - that’s just how they worked out!)
