Even though the Ho-Ri isn’t a real tank, I think the Ho-Ri Production should be renamed to Ho-Ri III to better reflect its conceptual development, and it should be equipped with an autoloader similar to the one used on the Chi-Ri as some documents suggest Japan was experimenting with that technology.
While I understand that the Ho-Ri Production is already powerful, adding the autoloader specifically to the prototype version would make the most historical and technical sense, since it’s the most accurate representation of Japan’s late-war design ideas.
That said, I also get why this change might not happen. The Ho-Ri is fictional, and adding an autoloader might push its Battle Rating too high, upsetting balance and possibly frustrating players who don’t want to see it pushed into a higher tier.
Still, Ho-Ri deserves an autoloader based on concept and potential.
Plus it would be cool.

NGL this is the right choice and I very much enjoy the Ho-Ri Production. It wasn’t built (in the configuration it has now) and only serves to justify endless requests for other paper vehicles.
But add the autoloader anyway.
Yeah. Though, to be pedantic about it since there is a very large distinction between the two, it should only have a semi-autoloader similar to what the Chi-Ri has, if not exactly the same.
which means that it’ll be completely buggered because gaijin cant comprehend that it wouldnt take twice the time it takes to reload manually as it does to put a bloody projectile into the semi-autoloader

Both Ho-Ri’s are busted allready to play against.
And what is actually most amusing part is that MAUS is 7.7 and these fortresses are 6.7 and 7.3
And 8.6s reload aced is damn fast for those allready

The Prototype only has a 120-150 mm casemate and a 75 mm LFP at 6.7. The Production only has a 200-225 mm casemate and a 120 mm LFP at 7.3.
Just stop shooting the UFP. Neither of them are anywhere close to as armored as the Maus is.

Even the Ho-Ri Production has less armor than a Jagdtiger; the Prototype has less than a Jagdpanther.
