Whats wrong with the Betty bomber carrying an Ohka? Its a perfect weapon system, the bomber gets in range and releases the Ohka which then goes towards whatever target it wants, itd be fun just like it was in Battlestations Pacific

Controversy. It’s the same reason why they won’t add Korea to the Japanese tech tree its bad PR and as much as a lot of people say “so what” they need to continue that if even anything related to both being in the same tree happens that becomes a giant controversial choice. One that should not explained from Political and Historical reasoning.

They will likely not have a great gameplay experience. In a good player’s hand, they aver very good tanks, but in a bad player’s hand, they are very bad.
Thats not how the game should work. Just because people play one nation more often as starting one does not mean other nations should be uptiered because they are played by more experienced players. Thats just rasist fr.
Well, there was a time, when the german M48 was at lower BR than the american one.

There still is time where japanese tiger is higher Br than same tiger in hungary and germany tech tree.
All of them are 6.0. The only Tiger that is 5.7, is the H1 in germany, and it is inferior to the rest of the Tigers.
Lol no. All of the 5.7 are older versions with less top turret armour and no AA mg (exactly like the one japan has but 6.0) while all the 6.0 (exept for japan) have more top turret armour and AA mg.
The Heavy Tank No.6 is closer in its characteristics to the Tiger E than it is the Tiger H1, so it makes sense that it would share the same BR as the Tiger E (6.0) rather than H1 (5.7).
Also, the Hungarian Tiger in the Italian tech tree is 6.0. The Japanese Heavy Tank No.6 is not higher BR than it.
So things begin uptiered is literally only thing in japan. Same with things like Ho-ri and Jagtiger, Chi-nu II and panzer IV etc.
To my knowledge, onlky the german H1 has worse turret roof armor.
And a single 7.92mm MG is literally useless against planes.

Better mantlet armor on gunner sight. Significantly better cupola. Track armor on the LFP. Stronger engine. Better turret traverse.
These are all things it has over the 5.7 version, and things it shares with the 6.0 versions.
The 6.0 versions get stronger turret roof armor (doesn’t mean much as 26 mm is more than good enough), and a commander 7.92 mm with extremely limited vertical traverse to where it can’t even really shoot aircraft (maximum 25 degree elevation).

To say that the Japanese Tiger is a “literal copy of the 5.7 one” is an incredibly biased view when it is objectively superior to the 5.7 Tiger.

Well out of those “6.0 versions get” japanese one doesnt have. And those few mm on mantlet does not mean much. Thats like saying the hungarian Tigris should be 6.3 because it has extra track put on its front armour. Japanese still is the worst of the 6.0 versions and by the main differences its closer to 5.7.
