Ho-Ri Prototype and Production too high

still not penning the turret btw

It is. Go test it in Protection Analysis.

it’s penning the hull, not the turret (physically impossible to pen a 200mm plate with only 61mm pen) try shooting a little above and it won’t do anything

well they are removing it now so who cares

Again, you understood the question perfectly. That’s just being a sore loser.

Will be removed soon @Zyranovos

And it shall never return again. Gone like the rest.

but they don’t take it from those who already own it. It’s complete BS and they need to remove them period from the game not just those who haven’t unlocked it yet.

They always do this with all removed vehicles though. Tbh I much prefer locking them behind a difficult achievement or some rare returning event with the OGs keeping a rare camo or something for it.

With that logic they might as well just have fake vehicles period. Either way, @GuardOfTheSquare the vehicle is being deleted so it doesn’t matter what BR it is currently at.

The BS would be taking it away from players that already have it.

If they made a mistake and added a tank that never existed or met their criteria and took those tanks from everyone then no. It wouldn’t be BS it would be fair, some people get it some people don’t sounds pretty dumb to me. Either way, doesn’t matter if you don’t have it go get it before it’s gone simple enough

How would it be “fair” to players that researched the vehicle, paid for it, spent time and SL upgrading it, as well as the crews?

There are plenty of vehicles that are no longer in the Tech tree that are in peoples garages.
Can’t change the past.

Also plenty of vehicles that never saw a battlefield.
Or… that are available to Nations that never used them.

This game is NOT based on the real world.

Just keep the already removed fakes and not introduce new ones, it’s already a part of the game after all. Alao removed vehicles’ BR do matters since a lot still play them. You still see Coelians being spammed you know.

And Gaijin still believes Ho-Ri Prototype could be 6.7 lmao, which is even worse than Jagpanther…

Are we spinning in circles here? We all know it’s not so why would it matter if they add fake vehicles?

On the other note if people pride themselves on only having real tanks it shouldn’t matter if they remove it and remove it for players they can easily give out digital GE equivalent to the RP and Modifications cost. Justify the way you want everyone wants tanks that are unique or removed to stroke their egos.

“I got the tank already so remove it and let me keep it hahah” 🫩

Most braindead CAS ?
You might have forgot about the J-22M1, Yak-130, Su-39, Mi-28NM, F8F, Yak-9K, Yak-9UT, and so on.

I love how you are saying that the ho-ri is destroying the BR when you have a 70% win rate on the BMPT btw.
With a k/d just over 2, it’s not that you are an awesome player that carries the team.

Never happened btw. Only the 3 germans and for the R2Y2… It’s complex. Airframe was completed and flew with a propeller (R2Y1) and 2 engines for it, and they wanted to put 2 mitsubishi Ne-330 inside (unfinished prototypes of the engines), so it is considered a paper aircraft.
But as for the Ho-Ri…
There is a wooden mock-up, and 2 different guns have been made and tested in the Ho-Ri project.

So it is meeting the criterias to be added for War Thunder.

" This is a reference page (page 165) titled “Experimental 105mm Self-Propelled Gun, HO-RI” — matching exactly what we discussed. Here’s what the Japanese text says, translated:

Development
It says the Ho-Ri was developed from the Type 5 medium tank Chi-Ri, and that two versions were designed: Type I and Type II. Both mounted a newly-designed high-velocity 10cm (105mm) cannon as the main gun, plus a 37mm tank gun as a secondary weapon.

  • Type I: engine room at the front, fighting compartment at the rear — this is the version shown in the wooden mock-up photo above the text (labeled “Experimental 105mm Gun Tank Ho-Ri Type I; wooden mock-up model”).
  • Type II: a “heavy tank destroyer” layout with the engine room moved to the rear of the hull instead.

The gun itself was designed by the 3rd Section of the 1st Army Technical Research Institute, and the hull/vehicle work was slated to be produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries — but the text states plainly that it was never completed.

Data table (translated):

  • Weight: ~40.000 tonnes
  • Crew: 6
  • Dimensions: Length 6.500m / Width 3.050m / Height 3.100m / Ground clearance 0.400m / Track width 0.600m
  • Engine: BMW-derived design, water-cooled V12, gasoline, 550hp @ 1500 rpm
  • Armament: 105mm long cannon ×1, Type 1 37mm tank gun ×1, Type 97 7.7mm machine gun ×1, 20mm twin AA autocannon ×2
  • Ammunition stowage: 105mm ×60 rounds, 37mm ×100 rounds, 20mm ×480 rounds, MG ×4,980 rounds
  • Performance: Top speed 40 km/h, climbing ability 2/3 (gradient), trench-crossing 3.0m, turning radius via pivot/gradual turn, operational range 200km"

If you read, it says, “most braindead CAS at 7.3”.
