Throughout the history, Ho-Ri Production stands as one of the most nerfed vehicles there.

  1. It had the fast transmission removed; that was very early in the day.
  2. It had 10 seconds constant reload speed removed
  3. It got bumped up to 7.3 BR

The vehicle itself isn’t that bad, but when a vehicle receives nerf, it should not be bumped up in BR that puts it in a unfair position; overnerfing is all too common in the game like the R2Y2 Kai.

  1. The Ho-Ri Productiion has bad layout, very easy to one shoot with HE given the artillery spam these days.
  2. The APHE lacks ballistic cap, very bouncy.
  3. Nonexistant LFP armor.
  4. Giant gun that will ensure it will get hit even the tank did not get penetrated.
  5. Its armor is relatively poor and does not resist higher end APHE like BR-412D and Pzgr 39 (of long 88). Most other TDs like Obj 268, JT, Elefant, AMX-50 Foch are very resistible to APHE.

Either way it’s good at 7.3.
It was probably one of my nukes.
Easy carry TD, not OP I think, but definitely strong at 7.3.

You literally can’t one shot it. Aim for the LFP and you hit the transmission, shoot the left or right side and you only kill the crew on that side. Unless you brought a full ammo load. Did you?

Skill issue.

No big ass muzzle brake or anything unlike, say, the IS-3, Tiger II, or US 90mm. It’s basically like every other tank in the game. Skill issue.

So do most tanks, plus you’ve got a massive transmission that basically blocks all the shots that do hit.

The Ho-Ri Prod. (I’ll say HR ) is actually balanced at this BR. I’ m a big JPN main and I complain VERY FAST about BR, and but the boats I have every non-premium vehicle. And in all those, the HR Prod is for me the funniest and one of the better.
It has a more than descent mobility with all those hp, the barrel can pen loads of things (I just have difficulties on Is-3/4) and the survivability is one of the greatest if not the best at this BR.

With the start of decompression what could be like 1-2 years ago, the first decompression was 8.0-9.7. Now, it is very rare to be killed by APFSDS; but there was a time… MWA301 where nightmares.

With experience on the bullet drop and a good knowledge on weakspots, it is awar machine. I think a good 1/4rd of my nukes where with this thing.

And we need to say that in downtier against Tiger 2’s, they can’t pen you well, and I don’t metion T-44 with 167mm of pen. The hull of the HR Prod can tank 3BM5.
