So, now that Renown is ingame we are able to see it 's secondaries use the " qf_mk4 " gunfile, rather than the " qf_mk1_aa ". I can’t say why it 's not provided an option for HE-VT as found on the other ships which use this file, and Renown doesn’t actually appear in the list of ships which employ the file despite having it - neither I nor Gszabi have an explanation for that at present. Very strange.
Event vehicles ( and vehicles in general ) are usually not considered developed to " final configuration " until they’re available to play in matches, so there might be further changes in store over the next weeks.
it is my skill issue to kill hood with ease? alright, buddy, gotcha.
and your stats are cool, but again, pretty pointless. The point of naval is to not paint yourself a target and stats gonna reflect that mostly. You still seem to not remember what I wrote, but I can help you this time: Hood might be good in close quarters but it gets ammoracked on distance more easily than other 7.0 ships in similar scenario. Plain and simple. You seem to take great offence in that but but well Im not gonna deny what I see in battle because you don’t like it. Also please read it carefully because there is no point of you to explain me once again that hood is better close distance or Alaska is bad. I already know that and wrote about it on the beginning of this thread,
My concern (which won’t keep me from grinding this) is that Gaijin has no problem putting in a ship that was never built (Kronshtadt) with stats that assume the best possible performance, but also creates a ship that has over 30 years of combat data, statistics, and engineering data that isn’t its best version.
No need to “balance” this ship by denying it historical shell types for instance. It’s top tier and top BR. Give it what it historically had and worry about balancing it after the trees are decompressed.
Couldn’t agree more, though a small part of me does wonder about the fact that the Devs are Russian. A lot of the soviet stuff seems just a little more polished.
Because the snippet he provided included coloured citations, which is exactly how online wikipedias look? The first image he posted didn’t even have the name of the ship stated in it.
You have to digitize or photograph books and documents in whole or at least in part, in order to report to Gaijin, which is why he was showing it in PDF
And your accusation that it was from Wikipedia had any context or legitimacy? You should have just politely asked “Can I ask which book is that from?” but you didn’t, instead going on to rudely accuse him of various things without any evidence.
Agreed. Though Kron is also technically slightly “balanced” arbitrarily. Her RoF was supposed to be 3.24, but it’s just 3 in-game, presumably for balancing purposes, and the fact that such a RoF would probably have never been reached IRL had the gun actually been built and tested.
