An F-2A with HMS would be 14.0 material, meaning you miss out on the amazing 13.7 matchmaker, so the HMS (if one even exists) woukd be a net-negative or even a nerf for the F-2A

13.7 for F-2 this a big luck, regular His playing vs 14.3 monsters Looks Like Rafale and Eurofighter
F-2 doesn’t have HMD system. It was not seen on any ADTW plane with AAM-5 and missing in documents about AAM-5 mounting
Only maybe it could be added in modification with Link-16 and other things which is going now but it is not clear known

J-10A at 13.7 is constant downtiers, as is F-16C/15C, and the same goes for F-2A.
For every 1 match you are at 14.3, you have 2-3 clubbing premiums

Considering the Finnish F-18C is the same BR as the MLU2 + other F/A-18Cs, I don’t think a HMD will cause a BR change. Same reasoning for the F-5T and F-5E, F-4S and FG.1/FGR.2

Simple answer, our early F/A-18C should go down to 13.7, it lacks a good chunk of 14.0 material, and besides the SPAMRAAM it really isn’t great.
The FG Phantoms are signifigantly worse than the US counterparts, and only exist at the same BR because of poor balancing

I agree they should go down, but as it stands the HMD changes nothing BR wise. F-16A OCU got HMS after release and the BR didn’t change.
Br is based on performance, an F-2 with a fictional HMS would see increased performance and thus a BR increase
Match maker isn’t consistent, even with out BR changes. It depends on who is flying what at any given moment. Sure it’s good while there is a sale on… what about later when all those premium F/A18s etc either finish their grind or give up? Suddenly 14.3 is a lot closer than 12.7.
Not a significant one with it’s current missile performance. It’s not like it’s missiles have HOBS capabilities that can really exploit it.
Well that would be a shame, but by then I expect more decompression to be put in place.

FA2 should be 13.3 with no HMD
AAM-4/AAM-3’s are quite good enough for it to be 13.7, considering it flies as good as F-16C and have 8 AAM’s
Id take 6 fox 3 over 4/4 tho.
No HMD, low cm count. One of the slowest jets around the BR.

Aint no way bro. AAM-4 are not even that good for a mid to close range Fox-3. Best it can do is 13.7, why such a big jump man.
AAM-3 > Aim-9m
AAM-4 > AIM-120
AESA > M-Scan
GE-129 + FM are both better than those found on other F-16s at the BR.
If the F-2A is 13.7 material, then the Israeli f-16C and belgian (and norwegian) F-16AMs should be 13.3
AAM-4 is great… at mid to close range and it is still very unreliable… and the thing only have 4 of each… 120 CMs as well…
