In the forum, you can create separate suggestions. This suggestion only covers everything terrestrial, but there’s a word limit for each suggestion, and I’ve already reached it. I’m now creating another suggestion for the aerial tree, so it has its own maximum word count.
Wasnt there a Latin America tt suggesting before? Personally i rather have that then just 3 nations since they are “smaller” i think it would be better to represent latin America as a whole in my personal opinion. Spain could possibly be included as well simply due to similar cultures and heritages
(But i wouldn’t be opposed to this too i would like to see some form of “Spanish tt”, having Latino/Hispanic ties myself it would be nice to see)
+1
this is amazing,i hope it gets into the game +1
Here’s a funny story for you. In 1993, the UK sent Mexico a single FV721 Fox for evaluation. Mexico wasn’t really interested in it and declined after trials, however, likely due to the costs of shipping it back, Mexico just kept it. Even though they denied it for adoption, the Mexican military wasn’t just going to NOT use a perfectly good armored car they received basically for free. So, they commissioned it into one of their reconnaissance units and used it until they couldn’t anymore. It survives to this day and is on display, painted in Mexico’s 1990s three-tone camo, in the 25th Military Zone in the city of Puebla. Would make a good premium or something.
Spoiler

I think I prefer the Latin America tech tree suggestion over this.
Partly because that suggestion can include at least some of these nations as well.
So, you’re saying that Spain should be added to the Latin American tree suggestion?
Would that mean adding Portugal as well?
I’m not saying I disagree; I myself have dual nationality (Argentine and Spanish). It’s just that I don’t think gaijin has plans for a multinational big space. Idk…
On the other hand, this suggestion (Spain, Argentina, Chile and Peru) makes much more sense when we look at the Scandinavian tree or the British Commonwealth tree.
I mean there is no official rule against it. Even if it is a lot of nations they are smaller some having more and some have less but they can pick multiple more then just the three listed here and make a solid TT with spain as it center or a contributing nation in my opinion
Please read the previous answers before commenting; it’s tiring to repeat the same thing over and over.
Mayhaps.
There’s a reason I’m supporting these nations regardless.
Brazil-Portugal.
Spain has options regardless.
@Chilean_Thunder
There’s no reason to take offense, friend.
I’m showing support for the nations.
There is no maximum amount of nations for a tech tree stated anywhere I’m aware of.
Where has it been said there is a maximum of 3 sub nations ?
Besides even if there is a rule which i have yet to find, the nations in the Latin America TT are not sub trees or sub nations, they are the TT. With different vehicles from different nations could be one from Mexico or 3 from Argentina regardless it’s THE base TT.
A sub tree would be if there is a fresh line in the TT and they add a Portugal line. That to me would count as one sub tree/nation if we are talking about a united latin America TT.
Are there any nations in the game with more than 3 sub-trees?
That doesnt mean its the cap gaijin can add more if they wish untill an official statement says otherwise there is no current cap as i see it
When there are more than 3 per nation, let me know; I’ll do things as they are now.
In my opinion it should be Latin America plus spain and Portugal as full sub trees that way everyone is represented and it covers the top tier issue.
no
Exactly, that’s what I mean. Gaijin doesn’t need to speak up for something that’s already implicit. The maximum for now (and I think forever) is 3 per tech tree, basically because there’s no more space or because the main nation doesn’t need a subtree. I understand that some want to see Latin America or Spain and Portugal all mixed together, but it doesn’t work that way; they have to use logic. That’s why I made this suggestion because it’s the most organized and logical option to implement.
This suggestion I made is practically the same as the Commonwealth of the United Kingdom, which has India, Australia, and South Africa as sub-trees because they were part of the British Empire. This tree encompasses the nations that were part of the Spanish Empire, with Chile, Argentina, and Peru as sub-trees. Is that very difficult to understand?
Sub-trees? Maybe not.
Nations in general? At least 2.
There are 3 sub-trees for Japan, and none? are full lines.
Then there’s Australia as a non-sub tree yet has more vehicles in Britain than India which is an official sub-tree.
I don’t know if this as a tech tree is needed, which is why I’m not voting on this.
I do not oppose this suggestion in the slightest.
I don’t overtly support it either, but I do support the nations it’s suggesting.
I overall support this idea, just not enough for me to make a vote.
I hope my explanation is received well, cause I do not want to make you feel like I’m opposing it when I’m not.
I do want to see all of the cool vehicles in the game at the end of the day.
Because they gradually add vehicles and fill in spaces, but there are 3 official sub-trees. Here @THEPolishThunder left a very good thread with proof of which are sub-trees and which are not.
Australia is an official subtree
I don’t know, you like the nations I present and the vehicles (I suppose) but at the same time you don’t want to vote because you don’t like them enough, anyway
I mean, you have the right to like something or not, but it’s confusing. Ultimately, all I want is for Hispanic countries to be included somehow, since we’re literally the most forgotten. All the other subcontinents have more vehicles than we do.
